Rodgers either has a great sense of humour or serious brain damage.

As for those laughable cunts over on RAWK, 'This [Sterling] thread will be tightly moderated'. Of course it will, you sad, precious cuntbubbles.

Moved this in here. Has been posted before but never fails to make me laugh. One of the best moments of last season.

I never realised Sterling joined Liverpool from QPR in 2010, I thought he was a product of their academy....
Weird logic, isn't it? He left QPR to become the highest paid teenager in English football at Liverpool. Now, Liverpool are surprised because he wants to leave them and become the highest paid 21 year old in English football.
Billy Beane would be proud of him. It's exactly the sort of activity that the whole Moneyball concept promotes. Whilst all of the lip-service and platitudes will get a jolly good airing beforehand, be under no illusion, FSG and their pen-pushing minions at Anfield (though not, obviously, the remaining genuine football people at Liverpool FC) will be as deeply proud of any profit made on the inevitable sale of Raheem Sterling as say, Joe Fagan was in bringing home the European Cup - because that's the mentality backboning Liverpool nowadays. They're a selling club, no more, no less.

They are a selling club now. Bodger himself confirmed that this week.
As for somebody wanting to leave a club for more money, bodger denies ever having managed swansea.it wasn,t him.

Got to love his latest self promotional piece in which he tells the world what experiences has shaped him as a man and as a manager and how its benefiting everyone he works with.

Liverpool sign youth international Sterling from QPR

Liverpool have signed highly rated England youth international Raheem Sterling from Championship side Queens Park Rangers for an undisclosed fee.

The 15-year-old midfielder, who had also interested Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Fulham, will join the club's academy in Kirkby.

"The success of our academy is vital to our future progress," said Liverpool managing director Christian Purslow.

"We have made clear that we will invest in outstanding young talent."

That is a real shame we didn't sign him. He might have made his debut for us against Newcastle this season in the league cup and kept us in the competition.
