The 'plastics' comments always make me smile, as anyone who's visited Anfield will fully understand.

ask any evertonian about plastics , the dippers have an abundance of welsh, irish, scandinavian, asian tourists at every home game , I seem to remember a survey a few years ago that over 80% of everton supporters were from the Merseyside area , and the dippers were less than 50% .Along with yooonited they attract the largest amount of armchair/plastic/tourist fans worldwide , the USA tour proved the point , unless there was a candle sale in New York.

There's barely a scouse accent to be heard at their home games amidst the Irish/Scandanavian chatter. Small-time hypocrites.
I would like to point out that not all Irish are red rats. Some of us (0.5%) support City, Everton, Villa etc.

As a member of the Irish diaspora I'm fully aware of that. Doesn't change the facts about the rags and the dippers, though.

Yep. Rats. It's the equivalent of having a water tight grain store now, starve the cunts.

No wonder that Liverpool fan thought we'd struggle yesterday. Obviously he thought we were woefully ill-equipped to deal with the pre-match protocol, lacking, as we do, all the years of big game experience possessed by the Liverpool squad of such occasions.

Having had s few scoops last night I missed the subtlety of your post, mate ;-)

Didn't I read earlier in this thread that posters on RAWK reckoned we'd only have one point after our first two matches?

They got that one wrong, didn't they?

I can honestly see City having a maximum of 1 point from the opening 2 fixtures.

Personally I don't see past a Newcastle win, and we are miles ahead in terms of match fitness at the moment so very much fancy us at the Etihad too.

This gem is worth posting too.

Lots to dislike the Qatari's about but that is just creative accounting. Not much different than many corporations and individuals do daily.

Rather hate them for solid reasons like racism, homophobia, slavery etc ;)

RAWK is hilarious but I'd need a stronger antivirus to wade through that toxic muck much more.

I heard Rodgers commented "City have all the money in the world but you can't buy a good tradition of wreath laying". I thought we were hopeless myself at the wreath laying, not once did Kompany get his head up to look for the camera lense and give a good old somber look at it. We are light years behind Liverpool at the auld wreath laying

It's like penalties, you can practice all you want on the training ground but it's a different story altogether when the big occasion comes around.
