Likely hood of them actually turning up Saturday? They could fucking humiliate the rags if they turn up.

Why so many worrying about these if we draw them in europe? They had their best day when they beat us we had our worst. Gave them 3 goals literally. Has anyone seen ederson slice another clearance this season? We had no silva, delph got injured, kdb/dinho had off days and we still scored 3 at fortress Klanfield. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than knocking Jurgen nice teeth and his cronies out of the champs league. I wat to see him and Gok Wan crying salty tears.

Fully expect the Dippers to show undue respect to the Rags , Klopp will change his pressing game the Dippers have a massive inferiority complex when they play the Rags , and PEG will be more than happy with another bore draw , my prediction , Dog & Duck 0 Nags Head 0

Unfortunately correct , why do our players shit themselves every time we turn up at Klanfield.

It was a fluke result

On another day, the result could have been a big win for City. Spurs went there and passed them off the park in the second half. And City are a much better passing team.

The Cult love the idea that everyone is scared to play football when they go there. I hope that there is a City / Liverpool quarter final and this one can be put to bed once and for all.

I think the way Liverpool play, is difficult for City defensively, even if we are on decent form. Our defenders are not great against pace.

The problem they have, if we are on form, is that we are an even bigger problem for them & they can't stop us. They like to ignore that bit.

What happened at Anfield imo, was that Fernandinho was goosed due to overwork & Stones/Otamendi had a fucking nightmare from kickoff, which also got to Ederson & the rest of the team & we passed it like wankers, which brought even more pressure on Stones etc.

If that kind of thing happens, they will win 100% of the time. If we play at our best, we will win 90% of the time.

But I think Pep could pretty much nullify them as an attacking force, if he wanted to, & pick them off. Their whole gameplan relies on Pep being Pep & they spend forever working on that assumption that he'll just go balls out & fall for their plan of exploiting it.

In a european game, for example, he might not.

I think they will roll over as normal. They're only interest in one cup and thats "We beat man city cup" so they can relax for rest of season now.
Give it it's full name mate, it's the "We scraped a home win against City and that means next year's our year la" cup.

Couldnt agree more regarding your last comment , the amount of unforced errors we made in the 4-3 defeat will never be repeated , and unlike some i would look forward to meeting them in the Champs league , because the competition is their holy grail and if we did beat them , it would go along way to nullifying the previous 30 odd years of results at Anfield

I would be happy enough if we get them in the quarter final. A repeat of Premier League form would still put us through 8 - 4. That would do for me.

I don’t hold out much hope. Honestly I can’t for the life of me remember the last time we beat Manchester United in the league. Does anyone know? I have a bad feeling it was when Suárez was here. Lol.

Anyway. Mourinho will know how to nullify our attack, he did it at Anfield you can bet he’ll do it at OT. Another boring United/Liverpool game. 1-1 me thinks.

15/16, Suarez had long escaped.
