Apparently, though I can't say I'd noticed, there's an article in the DT this morning that endows Salad with the gifts of Messi. Was only a matter of time before the RagDipperArseHaringeyMeedya recognised that this guy is not just a fine footballer, he is among the greatest ever to draw breath. Funny that it wasn't spotted before he donned the 'famous, what a European night' shirt!

That Linesman doesn't like Liverpool then I guess? Proof, if there ever was any doubt, that there is bias in the game. Also, consulting the TV Referee?

They were talking about Lovren playing the ball.
Lovren was aware Kane was behind him(not aware he was offside though) so had to try and play the ball.
The flag should have gone up initially when the offside occurred from the pass forward.

Same happened to us on Saturday. The ball was crossed and Barnes was stood offside behind Vinny. Vinny aware of him (didn't know he was offside) and headed it out for a corner.
Ben Mee had a headed chance from the corner. The flag should have been raised initially for the offside meaning Vinny would have not had to head it.

Also in yesterdays game a real bug bear of mine was highlighted when Linesmen don't flag for offside until a player goes close to the ball. Yesterday this resulted in an uneccessary clash beteewn the forward and keeper. This has happened a few times at the Eitihad but fortunately not resulted in injury but its just a matter of time.

I'm with you 100%. How we've got to this frankly ludicrous interpritation of the laws is a disgrace.... the old offside rule was poor. Danny tiattos disallowed worldie at middlesboro, a great example of why it needed changing. However, in both examples you have mentioned, the attacker should have been called offside as the balll was intended for them, making the defender play a ball he shouldn't have too. The laws should be there to ensure fairness. This incarnation clearly isn't....

That video proved the officials are bent. Or at least proves that fat **** Moss is. How many game changing penalties has he given on tele now?
