Re: Stan Fabinho signs from Monaco. €45m + €5m add ons

I'm sad were losing Emre Can
A fine, upstanding German man (maan)
But grass don't grow under Kloppo's feet
We signed Fabihno ... man that's sweet

Now we just lost to men in white
Led by their Captain who is shite
I hope next year in sunny Spain
To cause them some enormous pain

Three Muskateers will lead the way
with Stan and Kieth and on the way
Perhaps we'll pick up Tommy Smeeth
To rearrange Sergios' teef

Our flag will fly in a foreign sky
And all will then begin to cry
Deser-ved Champs you found a way
And we will sing ALLE, ALLE

Oh dear - on the back of the Daily Mirror tomorrow Salah exonerates Ramos and says it was an accident. All that wasted hate and anger - how will they get over it??
At least his lawyer mate in Egypt can now go for damages under the "had an accident in the last 3 years and it wasn't your fault?". As a scouse player, it would never be his fault, so he might get something for his injury.

By the end of summer they’ll have broken the record for highest priced CB, DM, and goalie in the last 7 months, correct?
I'm not sure they'll fork out 70 m for Allison.
They could easily sign a quality GK from the championship. Whoever it is will be a huge upgrade on Karius.
The midfield Klopp is assembling looks awesome.

Not guaranteed to be a success, French League is weak, not seen enough of Keita, hope they all turn out to be relatively shite.

Not seen any of them play but if stats are something of a insight then Kieta's are no better than milners.

Trying to sign a whole new midfield in one window (and all from abroad) is a disaster waiting to happen.

Exactly, seems that fsg are backing klipprty so he will have to deliver something for the outlay - going to be hilarious viewing when he doesn't

I think klippety will have a dilemma next season. He needs a trophy to justify his extravagant spending but it will be difficult to be consistent with so many new midfield players who are new to the Premier League. I expect to see him going strong in the cups and being happy with third/fourth in the league.

I wonder if trying to move to a more creative midfield is going to be more successful for Klopp? - he had better midfielders at Dortmund than those currently at Liverpool so it could work but let's hope it ends in disaster!

You're forgetting - only City have to justify extravagant spending. Klopp simply can't compete and is selling a different, more worthy project dontcha know.

Klopp will dine out on the Kiev final all season. I imagine all that will be expected of him will be CL qualification
