Klipperty is an annoying fucking wanker...he's actually a point worse off at the end of this season than he was the season before.
So he's not actually closing the gap is he ...
Teams that defend against Klippertys team will get results more often than they will against us.
Do you think that winning fuck all in 3 seasons make him a great manager, because I don't.
He's a cup manager rather than a league manager...none of their midfield including new signings would get into our 1st team.
They will be in top 4 unless Chelsea and Arsenal improve drastically.
Klopp hasn't got anywhere near our budget - but gets Liverpool to the CL finals and nails down a top-4 spot in the PL.

Moreover, he's no dummy in tactics - nor in long term team management. He knows what Liverpool's weaknesses are and will improve his side next season.

Top manager.

Do you hate Klopp ? Why can't you see the obvious ?

1. Taking Liverpool to CL final, in fact 2 European finals in 2.75 seasons
2. The only team in the PL who broke our invincibility and had the better of us this season
3. Salah
4. Unbeaten at home this season. How many teams have defeated Liverpool playing football ? Maybe Real and Spurs, the rest of the defeats have been nick a goal and park the bus.
5. Liverpool looks well equipped for a title challenge if they bring in a new goal keeper, much more than United who have better individual players.
And yet he has moved them onto less points than Rodgers did,he is all bluff and no action,he might win the odd battle but he will never win the war
Are you a liverpool fan?

Unless we get them in the CL, I don't really care.

They won't be near us in the Prem.
Agreed - we're the better side.

Still... I'd like to win the CL :-)

That said.... and not withstanding the minority Liverpool hooligans, many of who should be in jail... I'm glad to see Klopp in the PL. Playing attacking, exciting football. Not the crab that Mou/Conte serve up.

Final not finals,he didn't win,top 4 scrapped on the last day,he spent 75m on one player and is spending loads this summer

don't make me laugh,he has had 3 seasons to close the gap to us

Top managers win trophies... Klipperty has won fuck all in England.
He's a manager who might win the odd cup but not the league.
As for he's not got our budget.. seriously..do you think Van Dyke was a freebie...he blew our record fee out of the water.
They spend plenty on players but lose their best players to clubs that WIN TROPHIES...

How did he win back to back league titles against Bayern then ? He hasn't won anything in 3 seasons, but he hasn't been too far from trophies either.

"Final not finals" - in the States we say semi-finals or quarter finals if not finishing in the top two sides. Final/finals are synonymous.

Sort of beats me what your point is, honestly - on the one hand you proclaim that I'm supposedly wrong for not crediting Liverpool to be among the last 2 teams standing in the world's toughest club competition - and in the next breath you're claiming that Liverpool aren't that great afterall.

Do you simply want to argue?

As I've said - we're the better side. But what Klopp has done at Liverpool is extremely impressive.

We've the better manager, the better players, more money to spend and a far deeper squad. Although Liverpool might beat us out for he PL title - it's a long shot for me.

But in a one-off (or two-leg) competition, Liverpool's starters are scary, their tactics/management are sound and anything could happen. Moreover, they seem to have developed a formula for playing against us that works really well - we'll need to figure out a counter for this next season.

Not in the slightest, the Real win was one of the happiest moments of this season. I'm a fan of the all-action attacking style of Klopp's teams. I feel his teams can compete with even superior opposition in a one-off game.

He can play all the lovely football he wants but his fake celebrations, sucking up to the scousers and those hysterical teeth can fuck off to another league for me!

One off games?they wilt after an initial spurt and only raise their game a few times a season so winning nothing, whatever turns you on i guess

Louis Van Gaal was managing them in the first season and their star striker was Ivica Olic. Even in Heynckes first season it took a worse collapse than the rags that season (2011/12) for Dortmund to catch Bayern. He hasn't managed to lay a glove on the title winners in the league table in 6 seasons since (two seventh place finishes, two fourth place finishes and two 'rags 2017/18' style seconds).

They were in the final mostly because of effort with a huge helping of referring decisions,my point and the only one i have made and that is he has had 3 years to close the gap and hasn't,we will normally play them twice a season in the prem,we won one and lost one so no big deal,so no he is not a messiah just happens to be at a club the media fawn over and so he can do no wrong

Not sure where this animosity is coming from honesty.

Probably you hate Liverpool - for reasons, as a person born and living in the states - I won't ever appreciate.

That aside - Klopp is a wonderful manager.

Liverpool's current owners won't spend anything like we will - they have a limited budget. The team Klopp took over was a mess.

Has he won the PL title in his tenure? Nope.

Will he before he leaves - probably not.

That said, he's a very solid manager, has improved his side tremendously, and honestly, given his budget, is doing far better than some run-of-the-mill manager (Rodgers, Dalgleish, etc.).

Is this the same Dalglish that won three titles, two FA Cups and a league cup with them? Even Rodgers was within one game of winning the title.
