After the fantastic end to the season topped off by Liverpool and united losing in finals we all are pinching ourselves about watching this incredible city side.
But I’m sure, deep down we all would have loved to come out of our battles with Liverpool if not ahead then all square.
Reality is they beat us three out of four.everyone else we bossed.at home we won 5-0 but mane sent off at 1-0 then Klopp inexplicably takes off Salah.it has since been proved Liverpool are an average team without him.
So next season wh3n we face them again (with Salah ) what will pep do to change the results of their high press and fast break.
The perfect season next year would be to retain the league title and boss Liverpool .
Please dont trot out the referee or disallowed goals .yes they would have changed the result in the second champions league game, but we had the whole of second half to beat them.
Klopp record against peps teams can’t be ignored.
Simply, what do we change next season to dominate Liverpool.
Like Pep said in that MNF special the other week; it's not about changing or having a Plan B, it's about executing Plan A better!

Not sure where this animosity is coming from honesty.

Probably you hate Liverpool - for reasons, as a person born and living in the states - I won't ever appreciate.

That aside - Klopp is a wonderful manager.

Liverpool's current owners won't spend anything like we will - they have a limited budget. The team Klopp took over was a mess.

Has he won the PL title in his tenure? Nope.

Will he before he leaves - probably not.

That said, he's a very solid manager, has improved his side tremendously, and honestly, given his budget, is doing far better than some run-of-the-mill manager (Rodgers, Dalgleish, etc.).
This is why i'll never understand why fans from all around the world pick a Prem team to "support" when they don't understand the country or cities they're from or the history of rivalries in football and away from football and the day-to-day ins-and-outs of what goes on. I'll never take any of them seriously.

Liverpool are a myth of a modern big club and Klopp is not this wonderful manager he's made out to be. They've won one League Cup this decade. Wigan and Leicester have had a more successful decade than Liverpool with bigger trophies won in the FA Cup and Premier League respectively. Klopp has lost his 3 finals with Liverpool and has not got anywhere near even challenging for the title. He continually fails to beat lower opposition and can only get his team up to beat the better teams every now and again. 8th 4th and two points worse in 4th again after spending £221.3m, £175m of which this season. It's constantly said that Pep's expected to win the Prem having spent what he's spent, but Klopp has outspent everyone below him and hasn't done anything more impressive than anyone above him. He's finished where the money says he should and hasn't gone over and above in anything he's done in league management at Liverpool. Pep might well have done what the money spent says he should but he's gone well above and beyond anyone's expectations from the quality of play seen to goals scored to games won to points achieved...

Klopp gets his teams up for one-off games and goes on good cup runs but then fails to get the tactics right in the game that actually matters, the final.

Then the media fawn over them like they're still the club they were in 1985 and like Klopp goes above and beyond his means, they boo and lay into Sterling and boo'd Ederson off for being injured, they brick fan and team buses but claim there's nowt wrong with it - the song is so true "always the victims, it's never your fault". They are a fucking detestable club and set of fans and the media fucking love them.

Liverpool Football Cult can fuck right off for me. Them and United deserve each other and their links to Celtic are so fitting as they are also a fucking awful club!

Pep learns with every game we play against our opponents. He's got the rags, spurs and Chavs measured. I'm convinced he'll do the same with the dippers and we'll win there next season.
What did he learn against Liverpool? Do tell I'm all ears.

THIS THIS AND THIS

When's the punishment for the coach attack being released? Perhaps they should have their "six times" title revoked?

You do wonder what is happening. The decision is not being made today, it was made some time ago, it is merely being released to the press. You would have though 9am would be good, if not 1pm. Knowing UeFA they shut at 5 and it is now half past ! Hmmmmmmmm

I could just about tolerate them before this season. However the team bus attack was a thoroughly disgusting episode and one which I think has had a lasting impact on the approach we as a fanbase will have towards them. Some fuckwit I was speaking to last week honestly couldn't understand why I wanted RM to win. It was almost like the bus incident was no big deal. Them twats do not realise how disrespectful that was to our club. I will never entertain any of the bastards again and they are only a couple of microns behind Utd in my dislike table.

Could the attack on our team's bus be interpreted as an act of terrorism?

Not sure about that, however I think the lack of action by Merseyside Policy Authority can be classed as a total dereliction of duty requiring a response by the Chief Constable.

But I won't hold my breath - a fucking disgrace by a police authority.

Probably next Tuesday or Wednesday when all the outstanding discipliary decisions have been made.
I bet Pep gets a harsher sentence for being right though.

Absolutely this.

Tell us something about this "fuckwit". Specifically has he made regular trips to Anfield as an away fan for the past two or three decades? I know a few Mancs who wanted them to win, but none who regularly endured the shit welcome, shit view and shit attitude of the locals.

I understand that as a foreigner you might not understand the Manchester Liverpool links and rivalries but I don't think you have to.

Truth is that personally, Liverpool the city, I like. Lots of friends and family from there, been there loads and had some great even special times there. There are actually loads of safe Scousers, they have their dickheads but there are some absolute weapons living here in Manchester too.

Liverpool Football Club however are a totally different thing. They are arrogant twats that think they're much more special than they are. They were fine with little old City and liked us right up until we got our money then they suddenly were snobbish, dismissive and outright offensive about our team. The irony is that their period of dominance, the fumes of which they are still running on also came after a big investment by their owners, but those hypocrites ignore that.

I hate their attitude to us. I hate the way they think they are more of a real club than we are. I hate the way they attacked our coach and claimed it was real support and not criminality. I hate the way they demonised Sterling for daring to go to another club and actually win something. I hate their sycophants in the media. I hate the cringe inducing poems and romanticism on RAWK and other forums. I hate their mythology. I hate their plastic none Scouse fans that have never been to a game but still spout off about the heritage of their club compared to ours.

I'm so glad they lost the final because of this and also I'll admit that I'm selfishly glad because I didn't want anything to take the attention away from our amazing, record breaking season.

Personally, I don't see why anyone would need to be from the UK to see how that club acts towards our club and it's because of that I hate Liverpool FC; not the City of Liverpool. If you can't understand that then that's fine, but without being some sort of gatekeeper of football fandom, I don't know if you're getting the full experience of supporting an English club.
