The 4th ref in the 3rd gif down should have chinned him.

I know a couple of Liverpool fans who have both conceded the title to us already. I have to remind them they are still top and it's in their hands. Then they look a bit panicked. It's funnier telling them they should win it from here than trying to argue they won't.

Still plenty of the season left to play and I wouldn't mind it coming down to a last game shootout for a gd win. The best front 3 in world football against our strikers who still can't finish. Van Dijk shanks in an og and Sterling puts one 11mm over the line off his gun tattoo before pulling a Gregg's steak bake out of his undies and feeding it to Ben Mendy who is struggling to stand on his atrophied legs under the weight of all his winners medals. He later donates his League Cup winner medal to the Little Jimmy Milner Medal fund so that he can add to his 'best team mates 2017' medal that Hendo got him.

Plenty of talk from dippers and the media (same thing?) about Liverpool having an easier run in, have they actually compared fixtures?

We both play Spurs, Chelsea and Watford at home, Utd, Everton and Fulham away. We have Burnley and Bournemouth away, they have them both at home, while we have Cardiff at home, they have them away. That all seems pretty even.

The remaining four fixtures each see us playing West Ham (h), Palace (a), Leicester (h) and Brighton (a). Liverpool have Southampton (a), Huddersfield (h), Newcastle (a) and Wolves (h). With Palace away being our most difficult, but Liverpool playing both Newcastle and Southampton away, both fighting to stay up.

Liverpool have the advantage of 7 home and 6 away, while we have 6 home 7 away.

There is nothing in the fixtures. Our only issue is still being in four competitions, but any professional will tell you, playing is better than training, and winning breeds confidence.

Why let the facts get in the way of a good myth?!

Great post.

Also worth bearing in mind that of our hard fixtures, we have a significantly better record vs Chelsea (H) and United (A):
- They haven't won at home to Chelsea since 2012 and even that was when they were preparing for a champions league final.
- They have only won 1 in 12 at the Swamp and that was back in 2014.

We won both of those fixtures just last year.
