That's probably true as I'm an overseas (JCL, glory-hunting :P) City fan. I'm more a fan of the sport than a fan of the team/country I support, and I wish the best team win even if it's not what I like. In case others do not misunderstand, let me be clear that Liverpool are not the best team in the League.

That's fair enough mate, and you don't need to explain yourself to anyone! I think some overseas fans have a slightly different perspective on things and, dare I say, can be more objective as they're less blinded by partisanship.

Liverpool: Jurgen Klopp responds to Franz Beckenbauer's call for him to manage Bayern Munich

Nothing like having a back up plan. Although I think he's fully indoctrinated by the Cult.

Interesting this one - he may be a cult follower at present and their all singing & dancing cheerleader on the sideline - but if he fails to win anything this season that is a major failure on his part

He will want to start winning something soon and it could be Bayern offers his best chances of that happening

Lets go on and retain the league title and get to the final of the CL and win it against whoever and cement another season of glory - and another season of abject failure on merseyside

One day maybe, just maybe, ALL football fans will slowly start to realise that there will always be mistakes made during matches by the players and the referees and the assistant referees and the VAR bods.

It might even dawn on a few fans that fortune, good or bad, plays a major part in every game.

On BM we post (and believe it) that Liversewer have been lucky this season and on Rawk (spit spit spit) they post (and believe it) that City have been lucky this season.

I reckon the truth is that both teams have experienced both good and bad fortune and will continue to do so for ever.

But, good fortune or bad, we can all relax in the knowledge that we have the better team... better players, better manager, better coaches, better staff, better stadium, better pitch (with better markings) and of course, better fans.

And never forget... FORTUNE FAVOURS THE BRAVE.

Come on City... fight until the end.

They talk about City going for the quadruple of trophies.
Liverpool however, having bummed out of the domestic cups like small minded minnows, are in with a very real chance of an almighty double.

Though this is never mentioned.

In fairness , a double of the PL and CL isn't too shabby ( not that I think they will do it ).
