Yeah 3 mistakes towards the end of a game with very little to do in his first game back but that's not the norm for him is it? In fact I can't recall a game like that before from Eddie which says it all about his high standards. I'll ask you if you're paying attention when he's back to normal, lets also see how smug you are after his next pin point 70yard raking ball too. :D
He had a shocker against Liverpool in Jan as well.

This everyday of the week and twice on tuesday. Eddie is a good 15% better than Alison.
I would say Alisson is the better shot stopper, while Ederson's distribution is better. Both keepers is quality though, and considering the styles of both sides you have to say both teams is lucky to have two keepers with properly good distribution. I mean look at the $h!t show Cech created yesterday

So true haha, the world cup would have been the first time Liverpool fans had a proper look at Alisson other than the two CL games where he hardly set the world alight but he's better "because he just is"... he's never looked better every time I've seen him. Certainly not his distribution, falls well short of Eddie there.
Apart from yesterday when Eddie decided to spice the game up in the last 10 minutes by becoming an Arsenal player.

Palace away next for Liverpool which will not be easy. Zaha is on fire at the moment and will test their defence.

They're riding a wave currently it feels. Played well in pre-season, Salah back, Sturridge keeps scoring, no injuries, big transfers etc.

A lot of this has been created by the media & their positivity around them - so it's fairly artificial. Will be interesting to see what happens when they hit a blip, hopefully sooner rather than later. I'd rather them have their momentum wave now, in pre-season/first few easy games, than when it really starts to matter.

Last season we created it ourselves, with that incredible winning run, after that teams just feared us. I get the feeling Liverpool have a similar, albeit artificially inflated, aura at present - we'll have to see how well they utilise it.
Eight minutes into the game against West Ham they went to the little shit Redknapp for his opinion on how much Keita had improved their team and he waffled on enthusiastically about how he combined with various players. EIGHT bloody minutes and he had hardly touched the ball, they really are a bunch of clowns.

I wouldn't have said Ederson's performance was the problem that day, nor does one skewed long ball make for a shocker(he didn't switch off in that game for me it was just unlucky). Regardless if you think that or not, it's not the norm by any stretch of imagination.

Also am I right in assuming Drubas is of the red/dipper persuasion or have I misjudged based off his post history at first glance there?

We were led to believe that but upon viewing for ourselves many of us are questioning if that's a given anymore. I was saying the same myself based on popular opinion and a few stats rather than giving his game a good look over and deciding for myself, which is what I think a lot of people seem to have done, given him the benefit of the doubt. I probably still haven't seen enough of him yet in fairness but as I've said based on what I have seen of him I'm struggling to see even his shot stopping being significantly "better" than Ederson's, are people forgetting Ederson's turnouts in the champions league that prompted City's interest?

I'm not so sure as many would be saying that if Tite had called up Ederson first and stuck with him for team consistency purposes as he has with Alisson. The reason for that is because Ederson spent a lot of his development in Portugal while Alisson's was pretty much all in Brazil, so it's easy to see why. I simply think he's very good and hasn't given Tite a reason to question him yet. This is the main source of peoples assumptions on the matter.

We'll find out more this season as he'll be tested far more frequently than in Italy... but even if Ederson out performs him in the same league, predictably they'll make excuses and say "but but Ederson plays in a team that has the ball all the time" and so on and never concede anything as is the way with most things in football, we are all a little bit that way but it's especially bad with the deluded dippers.

It helps my blood pressure if I don’t watch the scumbags play or read any scum related media. Try it, it’s not that difficult and I think it helps.
SWMBO is a Liverpool fan and when they came on MOTD last night I went to sort some photos upstairs... She tells me off for anything I say about the Dippers so I am better saying nothing... I mentioned the offside goal and she said "everybody gets them"... 'nuff said

Let's see who keeps the most clean sheets, concedes the least amount of goals and makes the least mistakes leading to a goal.
My money would be on Eddie.. Scouse keeper looked dodgy in the World Cup and in the Champions League too.

You are right in assuming that. He/she is from Sweden, I believe.
