Let's see who keeps the most clean sheets, concedes the least amount of goals and makes the least mistakes leading to a goal.
My money would be on Eddie.. Scouse keeper looked dodgy in the World Cup and in the Champions League too.

He was almost alpaca-esque in his inability or unwillingness to come off his line for the goal he conceded against Switzerland.

Liverpool might get off to a flyer but that clown Klopp won’t keep their dizzy feet on the ground. He’ll pump them up at every turn and get the daft sods giddier than ever. With Klopp at the helm I really can’t see that lot going the course, they’ll blow up because they are simply too desperate, too excitable and have a greatly inflated view of themselves.

Emotionally incontinent, the lot of them

That's an interesting difference to Pep when you think about it, who often talks about being mentally stable as in being the same through the good and the bad moments. Going to the extremes of up and down all the time "Kings of Europe... we've reclaimed our rightful perch at the top la".... "Fuckin Karius I hate ya, everyone is against us :(" is probably the quickest way for mental burnout.

You are absolutely correct Sir.

It wasn't many years ago Liverpool fans entered new seasons with Adam and Spearing in the starting lineup. The club was in shambles and close to bankruptcy. Watching Liverpool play was like watching paint dry.

So when there are actually a few things to be genuinely happy about, it is a bit too much for some to handle. Both Liverpool fans and City fans, apparently :)

Also since when did a few players or staff asking what the score is in another game become news? It was mentioned several times and they were noticeably excited by it. They didn't even say who was asking, it could have been the kitman or the coach driver for all we know.

Did it not occur some of the players and staff had worked with Pellegrini before and wondered how he'd got on since he's well thought of?

As many know, our next six are against this and last season's promoted sides. We play at Anfield on matchday 8, here's their fixture list before then:

Palace A
Brighton H
Leicester A
Spurs A
Saints H
Chelsea A

Should steam roll the two at home but those away fixtures won't be easy.
