After watching the highlights and some of those ridiculous decisions, if the dubious officiating appears on Monday, I’ll be done with football.
There’s obviously something ‘fishy’ going on within the officiating circles and I’m sure everyone can see this even the neutrals except the dipper vermin.
Not even watched a minute of the game.it was obvious what was going to happen. Turns my stomach whats been going on in our game for a good few years now at pigmol bt and sly....more and more folk are waking up to it all.....ho hum, only leicester and brighton to go,two clubs nowt to do with deciet and insider betting syndicates. Move along, nothing to see.Come on City, smash both bastard teams.

The annoying thing about this scenario would be that the achievement of us winning back-to-back Premiere League titles; the first a record smashing wonder season and the second playing under the immense pressure of a serious challenge is that none of that will matter because the Dippers will be hailed as the greatest team ever to finish second in the history of football EVER.

I can see the back pages now: "Heartbreak" with a picture of Klipperty consoling a tearful Salad, then 7 more pages with pictures of crying fans, and reasons why the dippers 'deserve' to be Champions. City will be squeezed in somewhere on the inside pages, no doubt mentioning the 'oil money' and FFP.
Yep, but that big shiny cup will still be at the Etihad.

Was slightly irked myself

I thought the Lino had flagged for a dive it was that obvious even on TV. Then I saw the replay this morning of Rondon’s “foul” on Van Dyke which was equally as bent. Not to mention two reckless tackles by Milner in the same passage of play yet only a booking. Then the TAA situation,I don’t believe for a second Marriner or that bent Lino would have given anything to Newcastle had Atsu not scored.

That Fulham game at OT with Oliver failing to give a last minute penalty sticks in my mind from 2012.
There was a run of games from about the February up to (but not including) when united lost to Wigan that collectively defied any other rational explanation other than bent officiating. The decisions were too outlandish and great in number to sensibly conclude anything else.

I'm not normally given to thinking the game is bent all the time, because many such theories don't bear any objective scrutiny, but it would take some doing to convince me that free kick last night was anything other than a consciously crafted decision to give Liverpool an unfair advantage. It was so clear and so close to the lino, I'm struggling to see how any rational person could argue otherwise.
