The annoying thing about this scenario would be that the achievement of us winning back-to-back Premiere League titles; the first a record smashing wonder season and the second playing under the immense pressure of a serious challenge is that none of that will matter because the Dippers will be hailed as the greatest team ever to finish second in the history of football EVER.

I can see the back pages now: "Heartbreak" with a picture of Klipperty consoling a tearful Salad, then 7 more pages with pictures of crying fans, and reasons why the dippers 'deserve' to be Champions. City will be squeezed in somewhere on the inside pages, no doubt mentioning the 'oil money' and FFP.

I'd take that all day long.

Just remember the angst and sheer tension every single Dipper went through against newcastle , they were 5 minutes from blowing the league , 5 minutes from their whole season imploding , and if we get the right results in our last two games all their anxiety will be for nothing . If we do win the title , it will be a beautiful thing watching scousers in meltdown , Spit on the telly sqiurming and looking for the excuses , scousers calling us oilers , empty seats and all the other shite they will come out with , when ultimately their club and support just wasnt good enough to get them over the line . i can see a mass of yellow cards for us, for little things early on on Monday.

No 50/50 decisions, no 60/40, 70/30 ones either...

It’s been discussed before but this year...to me:
11/12 was immense, overwhelming and buried so much pain from 1976+ onwards.
13/14 was demolishing records
17/18 was demolishing those and even more

But I think 18/19 will have the greatest schadunfraude (sp) due the overwhelming odds the team have played against, and the overwhelming help Liverpool have had.
