They are a 30 minute team in which they try to blow you away.

Keep them at bay during that time and as the game goes on and their fitness levels suffer, they dont offer much and they can be beaten quite easily imo.

They blew us away in a 10 min spell after half time last year, never seen anyone do that to us lately.

I'd say it's the last 20 mins where they seem to run out of ideas an tire.

Great assessment. I am not sure why so many Blues dismiss them so readily. They have been gradually getting stronger the last few years and have obviously decided to really try and step up to the next level with their huge investment. We saw yesterday how even a limited team like Wolves with a couple of skilful players with pace can get in behind us. If that was Mane and Salah we would have been two or three goals down.

We are tailor made for their system which is why we lost three of the last four head to heads. It is a bit frustrating a top coach like Pep can't seem to solve the conundrum they pose.

Pep did solve it didn't he in the return leg, needing to score 3 without reply, should have been even more ideal for their style. Instead, got two goals in the first half and utterly demolished them.

It just makes me howl with laughter that the scousers continue to call us a plastic club etc etc......seems it is people like this that dont know or refuse to accept any historical facts whether it be another club or even their own.

Wasn’t it liverpool languishing in the lower division before they were bought out by the equivilent of todays club owners, in littlewoods all those generations back ! Isnt it liverpool fc that fill a vast majority of their stadium with oversea’s fans from ireland and the Nordic countries !

And they have the arrogance to call us plastic.

I dont mind having a debate or chat with any fan of any club, but the uneducated idiots that spout utter tosh all day every day because it suits their agenda are just comedy gold and regardless if you even try to educate them it falls ln deaf ears because it isnt what they want to hear or read nowadays - but hey, it gets them a pat on the back from said like numpties

I think that the media and fan hysteria may be Liverpool's undoing. The Fail on Sunday's match review headline is "The Stuff of Champions" and a dipper fan on a phone in was saying Keita was as good as Gerard (after 3 games). Robbie Savage and Danny Mills (two biggest c*nts in football?) were claiming that VVD is the best defender in the world!

Hopefully this will put them under pressure and offset the favourable referreeing they have been receiving. Salah has already shown form for diving so hopefully his card will be marked. Not hopeful though - I think he would have got a penalty yesterday if he had been in the same position as Silva.

Spot on waspish. The ones with an agenda or uneducated wont believe that though because it doesnt register or they fail to understand actual truth and facts.

Liverpool fan who i work with consistently always mentioned empty seats every monday after the weekend games, it never really bothered my but he tried it again after this season started, i just quipped back that when we have over 3000 or so travelling plastic foreigners and tourists inside our stadium just like liverpool do then it wont be noticeable

Who cares how big their clubs are? The people who push this argument are normally saddoes who don’t have much going on in their lives and feel a bit inadequate with themselves, so latch onto a team miles away.

I have more respect for supporters in the lower leagues who stick with their team no matter what. We’ve been there and understood what it’s all about.

Savage said Kompany was the best he's ever seen, He was wanking abt him yesterday on BT sport. He then said atm Van Dyke is looking good & could reach those heights.
