Everyone has to be switched on and give nothing away for the first half an hour. Gudonghan and Fernandinho in the same midfield worries me, I hope he doesn’t make that same mistake again.

Last time we got as much as a point was 2012 last time we got a win was 2003, that previous form doesn’t bode well. We were better than this lot in the league game and should have come away with at least a point, Otamendi’s header goes in at one all and it’s a different story.

The champions league game was a first half hour brain fart. Everyone went hiding but we did rally in the 2nd half. The return leg at the Etihad was some of the best football we had played all season.

What they did to the bus and how they celebrated like they had won the champions league when they put City out should anger the squad. I want to see them channeling this into some retribution and letting those scruffs know it is going to take some effort to take 100 points Manchester City’s crown off us.

I disagree, It's not the first half hour, it's the key half hour. the last three games have showed that, yes, they only have half an hours intensity in them, but Klopp is trying to deliver that intensity when it counts, which could be the end of the first half, or start of the second.
