Salah, Firminho and Mane not playing at last year's level but what worries me is this:

Utd 20
Spurs 17
Chelsea 13
Arsenal 13
Liverpool 13
Points this season after 8 games:

Chelsea are still getting used to new manager and Liverpool's front 3 are underperforming yet they're level on points with us.
It's already a very different season
The fixtures are also very different from last year. We have already played Arsenal and Liverpool away and got 4 points. Last year, it was 3. We also exceeded our result against Huddersfield at home by 2 points. Swings and roundabouts.
On the other hand, Liverpool this year have had a run of tough fixtures out of the way. There is that, but I don't think that their big front three will hit the heights of last season.So I still think that we are in good shape and have another gear or two to go up, especially when KDB comes back.

WTF is there to worry about, we're unbeaten and top of the league having played the Dippers, Arse and Wolves away. We've not reached 2nd gear year but you think the Dippers are underachieving FFS.

If I did then apologies. Either way my response was saying neither team had a meaningful attempt. To moan at Liverpool whilst we was in the same boat is the usual delusion you see on here. We edged the game, it was a great approach and one we all called for pre game. I was happy with the point. I don't get over excited at tame efforts at goal though that even Karius would have saved.
Maybe the onus was on the Dippers to take the game to us , and instead of criticising our approach to the game , you should concentrate on the oppositions overall negativity , its a MCFC forum which usually means contributors invariably will see the game from our point of view , it is not being deluded or getting over excited. Continually playing devils advocate just makes you look ridiculous and in future as far as i am concerned , easily ignored.
