The assumption there though, is that last season is the 'norm' for those players and they weren't playing above themselves.
Maybe their form this season is their norm?

Bit early to be drinking!I can see a frustrating afternoon for the dippers at Huddersfield, there players coming back from international duty, having to play away to a fresh team that parks the bus, im hoping Huddersfield can salvage a draw from this game, the first 30 mins is crucial to that though.

I don’t think he has the mentality for the big games.everytime a big game comes up, he seems to go off injured. It doesn’t seem to make sense, as he starts the game full of desire and the next thing, he’s holding his leg, shoulder, looking to come off.
Champions league final and he wants to come off, I’ve never seen Spanish Dave ask to come off and he has been kicked black and blue. Just a nagging thought I have.
If nothing else, you’ve got to think it’s strange.
