I think we'll need to wait until the end of the season to gauge the extent if the improvement. If by the end of the season, they're anywhere near as far as they were from us last season, then they'll deserve criticism. If they end up within 10 points or so, then they'll take some positives.

I agree about Sarri getting Chelsea playing well already but I don't see them maintaining the challenge. It's not easy to transform a team immediately and Chelsea's team isn't as good as they used to be. Sarri did an interview before the league match against Liverpool and said that he didn't know if his team was ready to win the title. He might have been lowring expectations or simply stating that he feels they lack the firepower to stick with City over the long run.

It all remains to be seen.
We can only speculate on what we've seen so far. I would be very surprised if we finish more than 10 points ahead of Chelsea and Liverpool.
We'd already effectively won the league at the end of November last year. Looking at form and fixtures I reckon the league at Nov end will look very similar to now.

I completely agree. If we win, I think those two will be within touching distance until April. I don't think anyone is running away with it.
