This isn't a show of loyalty by Salah but rather him cashing in whilst he is at his maximum worth.

He'll not be as good next year as he will have been worked out and if Barcelona come calling he'll soon disappear.

The reality is that he's only extended his contract by a year or so but probably doubled his wage. In short the next 5 years of Salah at Liverpool will cost them probably £25M more than if they'd have just kept him on his existing contract! Desperate Klopp will put a positive spin on anything, even in effect rebuying the player you already owned but for more money.

Dippers have turned a corner imo. Their financial position is very strong now and they are able to retain their star players as well as sign new talent.

Klopp has done a tremendous job with them and if they get a good GK and CB, they will definitely challenge us.

If we carry on the same trajectory no one, NO ONE, will be challenging us next season. Agree with you that dippers are also on the up, but not next season. Imo of course!

Although tbey might be in a strong financial pisition, how much have the Fenway group actually invested. Got the club on the cheap and then seem to be selling players for massive profit and winning the net profit trophy
