I’m not certain but I think Fenway have lent rather than invested money in the Dippers. At some point given their track record Fenway will flog the club when they think they can turn a healthy profit. Fenway have no love for them - they are looking to make a profit as they did with the Florida Marlins.

They may be in a strong financial position. They are the 9th richest club in the World. However, they are falling behind the competition. In 2003 they were the 5th richest club.

In recent years City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Bayern and PSG have all overtaken them. Juventus are very close to overtaking them. And Spurs, the next taxi on the rank after that, must be a threat with the additional income from their stadium.

You are right. Fenway do not give a shit about them. Liverpool are simply an investment to ensure a better future for the Red Sox. For years, Liverpool have been taking their knickers down for the Chinese to try and persuade them to buy the club. Sadly for them the political situation has turned against them.

The whole club are crashing hypocrites. No class.

Which was caused (but, naturally, never mentioned by the media) by Van Dyck pushing Ramos into him. A blatant penalty, but never talked about.

I suspect they are struggling to sell him on and need this fake news to push up his potential transfer value. It reeks of staged PR release.
 
Posted the other day on here that the narrative will Ben pushed that it was concussion that caused the balls ups. Klopp “Karius was 100% effected by Concussion”.

Media will pick it up now and when Karius starts in goal for Liverpool he will be herald a hero.

Karius was hit by a drum before the game, he had percussion.
 
So the effects of the concussion didn't come into play in between the mistakes when he saved a shot, caught a ball, kicked it and threw it out accurately ? What a plonker !
