How come City are in all the cups and the Scouse Filth aren't?

Let me think about that one...

JJ

Quite. Personally, I thought a pretty strong answer came from De Bruyne saying that he hated long breaks between games as it disrupted rhythm.

Kind of fun reading them talking about how City have an advantage because they're in all the cups and playing regularly, while here people say Liverpool have an advantage because they're getting a decent rest.
Tbf there's quite a few of us on here that don't think having the FA Cup weekends off is helping their rhythm.
The League Cup and CL are definitely a disadvantage in a way as they're midweek and cut into your prep time, the FA Cup (up to this stage) and League are scheduled to work in tandem so it only starts being a disadvantage now and even then if you're winning then that confidence keeps you going.

Indeed, I'm one of them.

So, in recent weeks we've had:

Long grass,
Short Grass,
Snow,
Rain,
Other team getting injured,
And now lack of cup games spoiling their rhythm.

Tragedy; someone light them a candle ffs.

He wasn't laughing and joking all through yesterdays post match press conf was he? Too busy blaming rag players getting injured for the best forward line in europe's inability to score - twat.

You really couldn’t make it up, could you?

Hats off to Klippety. That excuse beats any that PEG ever came up with.

There's more posts about City than there is about United on that fucked up shithole RAWK.

I thought we were irrelevant to them.
We're completely irrelevant and nobody should even pay any attention to us as we're a plastic pretend club according to them. I know they think this as it's been posted multiple times by thousands of different posters.

"It really is a strange thing. I remember Arsenal doing something similar under Wegner during the long second half of his tenure there post Henry. They did amazing one calender year but not so good the next calendar year and could never seem to bridge the gap over an entire scheduled PL and CL season.

Like players get jaded knowing they did it for a full year without being compensateted with a mentally satisfying and assuring trophy and just lose that edge. While other clubs with massive resources like City can just throw quality bodies at the problem."

So they're not going to win the league because the season is Aug-May instead of Jan-Dec. Fuck me, that's some excuse making Klopp would be proud of.

I suffered through two pages of their usual rubbish. Apparently they don't care that we won a trophy as it appears a fairly meaningless trophy at that.

The do seem particularly giddy, however, at it being the first trophy we have retained.

I suppose that'll give the maggots summat to cling to for now.

I heard the great Buzzer say a few years ago that they’d rather be playing than training and couldn’t wait to get back on the pitch for the next game.
