Not sure why so many are confident the Dippers will go far in the CL. They’ve lost all 3 away games in the group stages - hardly a basis for confidence and they will draw a group winner.
You on the wind up he could've snapped his ankle!!!I'd be livid if one of ours was sent off for that, Kompany v Nani springs to mind because I'm still angry about it
Liverpool look good this season I'll admit. It's interesting that last time they challenged for the league they had 1 outstanding player, Suarez. These last 2 seasons they have another, Salah. Salah won the game for them at the weekend and he won it again last night. This is high risk because a) if their 1 outstanding player wants to leave or b) gets injured, they are simply not the same team. See what happened to them in the CL final - not just missing his skill, but the psychological blow. I think Liverpool out of all the PL contenders, are the team most reliant on 1 player, probably even more so than the Harry Kane team. Well done to them for spotting him and recruiting him, but they can't help being aware of what tends to happen to their outstanding players (Suarez, Coutinho), not to mention Sterling. I think this aspect more than anything means they must win something this season. If not, the really world class players will see their successful careers elsewhere.

Fuck that, Insigne's lucky to not have a broken ankle. The dictionary definition of excessive force, it's a red card every day of the week.
Noting like Kompany's vs. Nani at all, which was just a tackle where he brought his trailing leg through and made it look like a 2 footed challenge when it was not.
Yep all true about them being vulnerable to Salah's potential departure except they've managed to nullify the obvious candidate for his signature i.e. Barca. I'm sure the Coutinho deal had some clause that Barca wouldn't come back for any of their players within a certain time frame (possibly 2 years I can't remember). Of course there are other teams that might try to sign him but the dippers are earning so much these days from the increased tv revenue and gate receipts since the expansion of Klanfield that they can probably ward off any interest. Depends on the player though of course!
I can’t stand Liverpool but they’re certainly a very good side, who stand a great chance of winning the Prem for the first time.
I believe the bookmakers have overpriced them to win the league.
I think you should look at both incidents again as one was an ankle breaker, the other was a stamp on the top of Salahs footKoulibably could've snapped Salah's too. I get it these types of challenges are now considered red, for me they shouldn't be.
