They had quite a strong side out for both halves. Usual BBC bullshit.

All teams use the pre season to test different tactics, see how different players perform in different roles and to give young players a chance to shine. Neither City nor Liverpool are one bit concerned about the result. It means nothing.

Absolutely correct but that's beside the point.

Unless Liverpool win that is! Then they're all going on about how they will win everything!!!

Exactly my point, you don’t ‘abandon ‘ your club, it’s not like changing fucking trainers. No offence mate but most overseas supporters just won’t get it.
Through thick and thin mate.
No offense taken.

But I rather think that I've been a loyal Oakland Raiders fan longer than you've been a City fan (this amounts to nothing more than a guess of age TBH) and a loyal LA Lakers fan as well (went to college in Southern California and became interested in basketball around that time frame).

I pick a team and stick with them through thick or thin - perhaps the typical US fan switches loyalty following a move from one city to another - but I don't.

With regard to my comments about Liverpool - what I'm saying is that overseas fans who were looking for a non-local side to support and have picked Liverpool, may abandon Liverpool if the extant thuggery continues - and especially if it's perceived to be supported by ownership/Scouse.

Loyal Oakland fan
Loyal LA Lakers fan
Loyal City fan
Hmmmm, this may not be most people's idea of "loyal".

Just curious but did you stick with the Raiders when they moved to L.A.?
