It’s rather embarrassing how defensive people get here. One has got to be a complete homer to not think luck was required to win the league just like every year you need a lot of luck to win the CL

There was nothing between us and Liverpool this year so it’s clear as day abit of luck here and there was needed

Luck my arse?? The bottlers, bottled it!! Fuck em the diving cheating c.unts

There’s luck and there is luck and Liverpool overdosed on it last season.
I’m curious to know in what games you think we were lucky in tbh?
I can only think of West Ham (Home) where we got a fortunate penalty, but even that game it was one way traffic.
Spurs gave us good games but we were far from lucky in both.
Leicester we got a bit of luck at the end with Nacho missing a good chance. But again it was a game we pretty much dominated.
If anything we were unlucky against Wolves (handball goal)
C Palace 3 shots on target..3 goals.
Newcastle 2 shots on target..2 goals.
Imo the gap really should’ve been around the 10pt mark if luck had been evenly distributed.

Not to mention Liverpool's 8 points from goalkeeping errors.

Best season EVER in their history, loads of decisions going their way, luck with injuries and they STILL couldn't beat likkle old City.
That's what is really hurting them....the bile & hatred just covers up they just weren't good enough even with their perfect storm season.

Looking better by the day........

Friday night game, last of the season, all other fixtures completed. Arsenal were around 20/1 to win the league as they had to win by 2 clear goals, no one gave them a chance. No hatred of the Dippers back then but watching that gives me great pleasure.

John Barnes using all his experience there by professionally taking the ball to the corner flag rather than trying to dribble past 18 men in Arsenal’s box.

Tbf he was probably that hungry his nut had gone. After all, he’d only had 26 toblerones at half time, rather than his usual 30.

Mwahahahah.

The Iheanacho miss wasn’t luck.

He’s just shit, hence why he lasted 4 seconds at the club once we’d had a proper look at him.

1. The Mahrez penalty miss
2. 10 points in-front at Christmas.
3. 4 absolute howlers from the Everton, Spurs, Palace, and Fulham keepers.
4. Numerous dubious penalties given to Salah via diving in the box.
5. Numerous incorrect offside and foul decisions that have led to goals.
6. A injury free season to most of their best players.
7. Klopp threw the FA Cup and League Cup to concentrate on the PL title and CL.

No, I’m not bitter. City won the PL title. But Liverpool would have been nowhere near City, certainly not on 97 points,
if it wasn’t for the sheer amount of luck, opposition player mistakes, and dubious referring decisions they’ve had throughout this season.

For Liverpool this season was a perfect storm, and they still missed out on the title. Yes, they will be there or there abouts again next season, but VAR will eliminate most of or all of those officiating mistakes. And they probably won’t get keepers gifting them last minute and game winning goals via mistakes.

wouldn’t surprise me if this bitter club are behind all the investigations into our club. They are very bitter lol

Ask the Scouse c*** where the fairness was when Liverpool, United and Arsenal took the away money from clubs and decided between themselves to keep it for themselves.

Ask him where the fairness was when Liverpool, United, Arsenal, along with the PL and Sky, carved up the PL (money for) themselves, and in doing so shit on the other clubs.

Ask him where the fairness was when Liverpool, United, Arsenal and Spurs all put pressure on and forced the PL to introduce PLFFP, not only to stop City, which was the main objective, but to deny another Jack Walker or Dave Whelan fairytale story and dream.

No, you won‘t read that from him. Or hear it from any other Scouser. It never happened. Certainly not on Liverpool's watch. It had nothing to do with Liverpool whatsoever. F***ing hypocrites.

For the sake of football as a meritocratic institution, and the principle of fairness within the Premier League, action must be taken, and clubs which break the laws of the game held to account. Liverpool’s, and all other sides in the Premier League’s fortunes in the next decade are linked inextricably to whether the Premier League is a fair competition. Take away fairness from football, and it loses its charm and magic. Take away fairness, and sports are no longer sports, they no longer provide the escape and release from the real world. Money, regrettably, already does have a huge role in football. But this is an issue for the heart of what makes football special. We can only hope money does not take that away from us.
