A spokeswoman for Liverpool City Council said there was near to half-a-million people out on the streets for the parade, but city mayor Joe Anderson put the figure closer to 750,000. The city's population is 552,000.

If there really was 750,000 there, at least three quarters would have had to come from outside Liverpool. If half a million non-local people converged on Liverpool for this all the roads and trains would be rammed for hours. Most of the match going fans wouldn’t be back from Madrid yet so my guess is that there weren’t more than 100,000 there. Any more than that doesn’t make any sense. Dippers are fucking deluded liars.

Fairly sure several of ours dribbled past him in our two games against the Dippers.

It’s amazing how they manipulate the stats to further/create narratives for the Dippers but generally ignore the legitimate ones making a case for City being one of the best teams ever to play football.
