Imagine the press if we did this.
Winning hearts and minds.
Imagine the press if we did this.
They’ve just lost Clyne to a serious injury, Shaqiri is injured for a while also.
Sturridge, Moreno have left. Their only business has been buying a young Dutch CB.
Mane, Firmino, and Salah played virtually every game last season and participated heavily in summer tournaments.
The Ox is back which is good news for them but I don’t see them reaching the heights of last season.
When you don’t strengthen in the Premier league, you don’t stand still, you fall behind.
VAR will take away about 10 of their offside goals (hopefully). They’ll finish second but 5+ points behind us.
They had a pretty good season to be fair but: If Mahrez had scored a penalty and Pickford and Loris not thrown one in, Rico not dropped the ball at Fulham and then given a penalty away, the linesman at Newcastle not fallen for a blatant dive to give them a free kick as well as them playing against Speroni, the oldest PL player last season and only winning 4-3), they might have only got 86 points. If Sergio scores a penalty at WHL, or Spuds equaliser is disallowed or Sterling’s goal stands, they might have won nothing and finished at least 14 points behind us.Yeah, hate to admit it but if they beat us on the day of the 2-1, they could have been Invincibles, Centurions & won the Champions League. Despise them but they're no joke. Just glad they haven't strengthened yet.
Top post my friend. I think they might well finish in the top three but they’ll not be anywhere near as close to us as last season.
Why arnt they been told to comply with this new rule.take some seats out put some screens in or don't compete in the competition?VAR won't take away 10 penalties though, if anything they will gain 10 penalties + this season . There is a reason dippers and scum have special dispensation to not have screens at their grounds for VAR next season .
You don't talk to royalty like that, la.Why arnt they been told to comply with this new rule.take some seats out put some screens in or don't compete in the competition?
You forgot about Milner being offside at West Ham. Even with all that going for them they still came up short, proper kick in the balls.
