You've increased your lead but at the same time we've reduced it... ffs..

I'll explain it in simple terms for you...

8 point lead
We played first and won = 5 point lead
You drew at the rags = 1point gained

Overview = 5 + 1 = 6

6 is smaller than 8

Therefore you (Dippers) dropped 2 points off your 8 point lead which means your lead at the top of the table has been reduced to 6 points.

Now if you cannot see that and you think your lead at the top has actually increased then there's no hope for you..

Ask your teacher if you can stay behind for an extra maths lesson when you're back in school...

we play first again this weekend so with a similar set of results it’s very possible they could extend the lead to 4 points from 6. I’m worried we cant expect to catch them if they keep extending their lead like this each week.

This weekend are you only 6 points clear yes or No? The answer to both questions is yes, so we have gained 2 points on you, so there you have it, Bill was right, you may be still up reading this as it is half term and all that

7 points 10 points 5 points what’s the common denominator here? Liverpool football club who get giddy when really they should be focussed on the job in hand.
