Had a few minor dealings with Tony Evans when writing a column for Times Online many years ago, and to be fair he was very friendly and supportive. Not coming across great though in some of his recent columns. This latest one is almost like a parody of the “how can we make this about Liverpool” takes that you see. Bit sad that he’s seemingly doubled down on the people criticising, guess its symptomatic of football writers who are further away than ever from the regular match-going fan.
