Sergio’s got a flat there too, although he seems to split his time between there and his place in Hale.

Thats his apartment in the new West Tower building at the bottom on Deansgate.

My cousin works for the Italian Glass Manufacture Focchi who did the glass for that complex and hes actually in that apartment Sergio has bought.

Hes said its stunning, on 2 floors and he said the value is around £4M

There’s a few of ours who live in the city centre too. The point is though in both cases that most choose the privacy of the far reaching surburbs or the countryside. Whether that’s Birkdale or Formby or Hale Barns or Prestbury or wherever, most want peace and quiet.

At the time, yes. He got more medals there but he wasn’t the same player. I’ve read here that he was shot long before he left us but that’s serious revisionism. His last half season was the weakest yet was still our top scorer. The 08/09 season was incredible, but looking back getting £50m was a hell of a deal.
