I think all the other Everton fans on here will agree with me that Liverpool fans calling City cheats is a bit much considering how they played against us. Like Robertson fouling one of our players, I think it was Davies, and laughing because he knew he'd get away with it. And Sadio Mane openly admitted he cheats.

Looking at other teams intellectual property without permission is cheating, so is inventing a fake stadium to get round financial fair play is also cheating. They got banned from Europe for it everyone seems to forget, trouble is they were too shit to qualify. Where as Manchester City have never been banned from any European club football competitions for breaches of financial fair play yet City are being branded as ‘cheats’. How does that work?
 
Just on the short turnaround that you mention, have they confirmed when next season is going to start yet? Last I heard there were 2 or 3 different dates floating around!
It’s looking like Aug 29th or Sep 12th as there’s a couple of international’s in between, nothing definite yet though

That's FIFTEEN games won by a single goal. They can't repeat that next season.

The greatest defence ever seen only conceded 6 less than our shambolic back 4.

The greatest attack to grace the league scoring 16 fewer than us.

Next season, bring it on.
The number of ‘by 1’ victories they have had, is my take on the season for them as well.
In their 1st 14 games 13W 1D, they had 8.
In their 1st 14, they kept 2 clean sheets.

Klopp isn't in the same fucking stratosphere as Pep when it comes to level of coaching ability. It's like night and Day, Klopp is a top mid-teir manager, the (very) occasional trophey but mostly high finishes and not consistantly delivering.
Pep delivers year upon year, trophy after trophy. it really is no comparison.

That team has a first 11 and has been played into the ground. There is no way they can maintain the levels with the squad they have. It is so hard to keep motivation, but City keep performing because Pep's tactics are all about controlling possession so we can coast when we need to.

Klopp's are all about intensity so as soon as that drops the team suffers. It is likely that players will go through bad form or suffer injuries. Their team has managed to avoid that for the past couple of seasons. Next year let's see how they cope.
I still think you would be seeing a very different man in charge had he ended up at our place instead of the cult - he never stood a chance............

That's another thing damn good point.

Klopp chooses one trophey and focuses on it and sacrifices everything else to get it.
Pep wants to win everything and more often than not succeeds
 
The reason Klopp is so bitter in my view is that he knows he isn't going to get any more money to strengthen in the window. They've got some decent youngsters but you need more than that to compete just in the PL, let alone the cup competitions. Whereas he knows we're going to buy and buy big now.

I do think he'll be out of there soon, before his legacy gets tarnished.

'Whilst I agree with most of what you have said, we have been head and shoulders above every other team this year. All the other teams that are abiding to FFP have similar problems to what you mentioned. Nobody has world class backup players and if one or two key players have an off period then the whole team suffers.

The elephant in the room is The Cheats who have been allowed to get away with spending a billion to build their squad. They’ll find New ways to hide what they are doing and neither the FA nor UEFA have either the competence or balls to stop them.

Take The Cheats out of the equation and I don’t think you would be too worried about any of the other teams. This week was very disappointing in that I cannot see how anyone can sustain a prolonged challenge against them without either cheating or else risking becoming the next Leeds.

Klopp has built a very good squad but we don’t have the backing to cheat (nor should we) but when one team is allowed to spend way more that their income dictates then what can we do other than keep trying to find good squad players.

It has been a testament to Klopp, his managerial team and the players that they have beaten a team that has got to where it is by cheating

I’m not entirely sure, but I reckon he thinks we’re cheats.

They weren’t banned for cheating tbf; just for killing 39 football supporters attending a game.

One of the things that makes me laugh when the MOTD/media crew etc discuss them greatest ever teams/players and so on, is how they concentrate solely on the times since football was invented (ie, 1992, with the advent of the Premier League)

As a result, they never discuss the merits of the great teams from other eras in our football history, many of which I’ve been privileged to see play at first hand since The Old Man first took me to Maine Road in 1959.

Chief among those great teams (for me) were the Nottingham Forest and Everton sides under Brian Clough and Howard Kendall respectively. Both played beautiful football; pass and move, fluid formations and, above all, on the deck and not hoof-ball.

I think it was a tragedy that the great Everton side built by Kendall never got the chance for a tilt at the European Cup thanks to the activities of their neighbouring scallywags (and especially for the glorious Kevin Sheedy, one of the greatest left-sided players I’ve ever seen)

Still, you guys have had the consolation of enjoying some cheeky-chappy football bantz down the years ever since as you sit together at derby games with those upstanding representatives of your city, your neighbours from across Stanley Park, eh?!

Best thing he can do is quit and go and manager Bayern in 12 months. If he has a start like he did at Dortmund where they were near the relegation zone there owner and there fans will be on his back his life won’t be worth living.
 
Short turnaround into next season as well, momentum is huge in football & as a club they seem to have lost every last drop they had, which probably comes from being the sorest of sore losers (Klopp Trent Robertson VVD worst of the bunch) the Watford & A Madrid defeats exposed the myth, we then smashed it to pieces. Even if we went out of both cup competitions without so much as a whimper, I’d still fancy us to hit the ground running. The Livarpool squad is weak, 2-1 down at Arsenal & the subs where Origi, Shakiri, Minamino, Keita and a bunch of kids, without a juiced up Henderson they looked flat. Their style also needs a tweak as most teams have cottoned on to the fact all they do is lump the shit out of it & pick up the loose balls, that would require a £100m midfield rebuild and a season bedding it in
Longer turnaround for them though as there season is over [emoji38][emoji1787][emoji6]
 
I see Klopp didn’t use Harvey Elliott last night so he is now ineligible for a medal, imagine the media uproar if that was Pep with one of our young lads, given the league was wrapped up weeks ago
