Sums a lot of their fans up does his post. They jump on the soap box once another team looks like winning things as they cannot bear not being the main attention. He is wrong when he says that nobody cares what City win as many fans are delighted that City are winning trophies as we got fed up of certain teams who thought that they could rule football forever. City are also a normal club with a normal fan base. Other fans can associate with that so they are bound to cheer your guys on....Then again, we like you as you get under the skin of teams in red. Keep doing it City, but be kind to Everton this week ha ha

My point was that clubs (in any league) with over 100 years of history may consider that significant unless all you're measuring is trophies, but never mind

Well yes of course but then what he is talking about is basically every team in PL/EFL.
I believe he means teams who have had a significant amount of success (which is mostly determined by trophies).
