... the latest from self awareness central... how would you know people on here were laughing about squawk's temporary shut down...if you hadn't been here, you thick dickhead?

Or one asking that institutions found guilty of serious financial crimes, such as money laundering for example, are banned from 'sportswashing' their dirty money through U.K. football clubs.
I'd love to see a real effort made to get dirty money out of football, most top clubs would be bankrupt within months. Pure chaos.

Put simply.

Liverpool had a huge rise in revenues and profits during seasons 2018-19 and 2019-20 when they won the CL and PL. But like all clubs they have now seen a huge drop in revenues and profits due to the Covid pandemic, especially their matchday revenue.(like United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, etc) During those two seasons FSG bought new players and gave existing players new and improved contracts. Don't forget, Liverpool had the highest player wage bill in the PL. Even higher than United at 1 point.(stand corrected on that) Liverpool's 2020-21 revenue figures will be interesting. Thankfully for them they will have the CL money to soften the blow. But their revenues will still be down. If, and it looks possible, they miss out on CL fotball next season, FSG and Liverpool could be in trouble. Look, out for some creative accounting. Henry and FSG are good at that. ;-) Google: Liverpool revenues for those years. You will see where the huge increase in revenues and profits came from.

Do you reckon the idiot who started that will ever stop to think "there's 60 odd million people in this country and I can't even get 30 people to sign a petition, how fucking pathetic am I?"?
Looks like hes fighting a battle he wont win

Britain's close links with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) - including its investment in Manchester City Football Club - have been praised by the Queen as she welcomed the nation's president to the UK.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on a two-day state visit to the UK, was formally greeted by the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh during a ceremony full of pomp and military splendour staged at Windsor Castle.

The Queen later hosted a state lunch for the Arab leader and his ministers and officials, with British guests led by Prime Minister David Cameron.

In the castle's impressive Waterloo Chamber, the Queen told the president: "Our two countries have been close friends since before the foundation of the United Arab Emirates in 1971, under the wise guidance and leadership of your late father, Sheikh Zayed.

"Your visit this week is a chance to celebrate the depth of our partnership - a partnership that continues to grow and strengthen.

"Our Treaty of Friendship signed in 1971 declared that the UAE and the UK would consult each other, promote educational, scientific and cultural co-operation and build close trade relations. This has never been truer than it is today and I am delighted with how our ties have developed, spearheaded by the UK-UAE Taskforce."

Among the guests was the UAE's deputy prime minister, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, owner of Premier League club Manchester City.
