Most of the things in those highlights were fuck all worth shouting about. He scored the opening goal and did a nice turn out of trouble on the touchline to beat his man and get up the pitch. Man of the match fair enough but they just padded it out with run of the mill stuff and started talking about him being a superstar in the making.

It's so obvious they don't like Foden getting so much attention, there has to be 'a great scouse hype' project always.

To be fair, they fell apart after he got subbed against us.

The City of Manchester and 2 ( I Think) other boroughs (Stockport and Trafford) voted remain. Overall, across the ten boroughs that make up Greater Manchester the result was leave.

Yeah, I think he's looks decent so far for his age but I've not seen anything that says any of the things MOTD or some Liverpool fans are saying in him(ie superstar).

It could hurt the player's development praising them for remembering to show up but at the same time I think Liverpool players thrive on hype. For now it's fine because I'd rather Foden is just allowed to develop into the player Pep sees he could be but Foden could be massive for City commercially when you think about it. I don't think some in the media are too keen on that idea personally. I know there haven't been direct comparisons yet(kind of because it's a non-starter) but I can tell they are coming.

Anyone been following the change of tactics from lfc and how klopp is using Pep's tactics:



Inverted wingbacks and how Cancelo plays is what they want to do. They're loving it on rawk, though they see it differently:

"I forgot what thread it was where I said you could have Trent play like Cancelo but it would neuter Robbo. Looks like I was wrong. Nothing bad about being a copy cat, if it works it works. "

"I'm not sure about us copying iro Cancelo....but let's face it. Both teams as well as many across Europe are adaptive and that always includes seeing if they can make things work with the players they have. For example, this season City have taken a large leaf out of our book ..."

"More like Cancelo playing like Trent because he's done that for us before this season"




How long do you think it will be before the red media have gotten hold of it and repackaged Peps tactics as invented by klopp!
