This is true. Abu Dhabi seem to be able to do what they want because of their money. I often wonder if uefa and CAS just gave up because of the threats from Abu Dhabi of tying them up in litigation for years.
I think we need to be really crystal clear here because your post seems to be under the illusion that Man City were not found guilty, or it was completely overturned by CAS.

1)Man City were still fined 10m Euro’s, for essentially hiding / not cooperating / buying time, during the investigation and it was agreed by CAS that unfortunately the cheating that had been evidenced (Which CAS did not disagree with BTW), was unfortunately time barred, largely due to the ineptitude of UEFA, so again they got away with it on technicalities. Also, there was plenty of other evidence presented but it was not considered “established enough” by CAS. Why not established enough? , well this was batted away by top barrister Charles Flint who had been appointed to the panel for an “independent view” but the world and his dog know City’s owners had managed to shoehorn him into the panel (by the way Charles Flint happens to be director of the Dubai Financial Services Authority, so a huge conflict of interest and show’s how laughable it all was).

2)So no, City WERE found guilty and could have received far more fines / punishment for much of the cheating that had not be time barred.

Aside from all of this, City fans need to realise, it isn’t the cheating everyone is questioning. It’s the sportswashing and what city has become that people can’t get there heads around why city fans are so accepting of it.

Essentially city is now a medium to be the mouthpiece and promoting tool of a state tarnished by appalling acts of human abuse and persecution, to try and rally support and wash over the their act’s of persecution for image branding.

Prem League rightfully were failing Saudi Arabia as fit and proper owners for their takeover attempt of Newcastle, despite Saudi reach and pressure to our own MP’s to influence Prem league decision. I think Newcastle fans should see that as an absolute blessing because it would ruin the ethos of their club, even more than Ashley’s doing at the moment, if that takeover happened.

3)City....well their fans didn’t put enough pressure on the club to stop that takeover, so they’ve only got themselves to blame for having the owners they have and why they exist as a club. The title’s and the glory do not make up for what they are as a mechanism to change the image of a very ugly set of owners.

4)Prem league should have done more to fail Abu Dabi With City, as they did with Newcastle takeover bid. However, their metrics and acceptance criteria was very different back then, especially passing the fit and proper test with owners directly involved in so much human persecution.

...just to answer these points in order...

1) rubbish... the time barred evidence was the fault of uefa, nobody else.

2)erm no, we were found not guilty of the charges levelled against us because the non-time barred evidence was in the form of emails spliced together to give the appearance of guilt, together with emails that had been doctored to give the appearance of guilt and sections of emails deliberately extracted from the main body of the email to give the appearance of guilt.

3) Did any supporters know, prior to the furore that erupted on the last day of the 2008 transfer window, that negotiations over the sale of the club had even been taking place?

4)Bwahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... is it the guilt of supporting a team from a city that played such a prominent role in the transatlantic slave trade... or even in a few cases of actually coming from that city that makes them so touchy about human rights?

There was equal or even less ‘evidence’ to support the time barred allegations as there was to support those matters which CAS did consider and ultimately reject as groundless.
The ‘time barred’ element of the judgement has to be one of the most grossly (and often wilfully) misunderstood and misrepresented parts of the case

There is a delicious irony at such a massive thread purporting not to care about City or what we do or achieve, certainly as their pages accommodate about three times as many posts per page than on here.

Not as delicious as Liverpool fans accusing City of a victimhood mentality, from the very club who probably tried to trademark it, much as they fucking tried to do with the actual City of Liverpool.

They were top of the League in December and have dropped points to Burnley, Sheffield United and Fulham.

That's not injury related, that's just shit.

I appreciate their concerns for the welfare of our league, also.

You know, the one they secretly tried to fuck over and leave...

He has 8 goals from 122 PL appearances. Not exactly a prolific finisher.
I'm surprised he has so many, on both counts. He's fucking rubbish. Quick and strong but so is a greyhound and the dog has better technique and more of a footballing brain.

His stats are shit wherever he has played. In first team football Traore has scored 15 goals from 229 appearances. He is now 25 and has been an attacking midfield player/winger his entire career. I hope he goes to LFC but even they can't be that stupid. Mind you the Rags did sign Dan James!

Traore somehow plays well against us.
I can remember him coming on as a sub for Middlesbrough and playing well in an eventual two two draw.
