This will carry on happening until a team has the balls to stand up to them.

When they did it to us we should have got off the coach and straight to the ref and explained that several of our players were in no fit state to play the game of football after being subjected to such an attack.

We would have got annihilated for it and probably banned but we would have set a precedent and the authorities would have had to act.

They’ll probably have to kill somebody before anything is done about it. And after all this is Liverpool we are talking about. They have form for committing murders in europe.
Teams have a right to leave the field if subjected to racist abuse or missile attacks , the same principle applies here

They hurl bricks and bottles and eye-bulging, vein throbbing vile abuse and then they demand the deference and respect due to ‘European royalty’.

Absolutely horrible little cunts.

But nothing will happen until someone gets hurt.

Clearly criminal damage brings no sanction so yes injuries will be the next test of UEFA's resolve - Dipper Five O have dedicated one officer to solely investigate......... he was in Chester when these events took place so is deemed a critical witness

LFC very obviously cannot guarantee the safety of the opposition, so it makes absolute sense that in European competition for one season LFC should play their home games far away from Anfield, the Puskas arena as an example

This should be considered, or at least threatened. As you say, if the club and police cant guarantee safety then it should be played at a neutral ground. They may stop then
