Now the dust has settled and everyone has had time to think about it here’s my opinion for what it’s worth . Liverpool and Man City are neck and neck in terms of quality and if day no one is better than the other but the only slight edge Liverpool have. Is there consistency to grind out more games than us which maybe will win them the title this season . Our defence is now top drawer but to go into a new season with 2 injury prone strikers is criminal considering that they actually fielded two yesterday and had one on the bench aswell . If we get this right then we can kick on
 
I am just glad that City do not make "drawing contact" such an integral part of their game strategy as the dippers. Half the time Mane and Salah do not attempt to shoot as they are so focussed on seeking penalties. It is ruining the game and should be called out by the media.
