& no caveat of having to win it twice to be considered a great team.
agree. It's tough to win it. It's a lot tougher to do it consecutively, mentally and physically.

The motivation to get to the top is different from the motivation required to stay at the top.

That's why you should always refresh the squad if possible with some players who have never won the PL as opposed to players who have already won it - players who haven't won it are more motivated.

We have been lucky to have players like Kompany, Silva, Zab whose motivation was exemplary at all times and who were a great example to players joining the club

There seems to be a problem between Klopp and Salah?

Saw his comments recently about possibly considering another club in the future, something he has thrown out there before.

It was also very strange about the reports he was upset not being made captain against Midget Land?

To me, sounds like he might be trying to work his ticket out this summer, which might explain some of Klopp's decisions around him?

In the current financial landscape, I doubt any club is coming to his rescue with £100m, even if Liverpool would entertain it.
Perhaps Salah was told not to go to that wedding and copped/Kopped/Klopped a big fine?

Other than Jota coming back continuing his goal scoring streak, I cannot see them challenge for the title this year. They seem to have hit the wall big time.
We seemed to have hit a wall not long ago. As recently as November we were 9th with a -1 goal difference and we’d only won 40% of our games, and even by Christmas more than ¼ of all our goals scored came in one game against Burnley.

I didn’t think we’d be anywhere near the title with that form. By rights we shouldn’t be! But now look at us

Anything could happen over the next few months, it doesn’t take much to turn things around when the league points are congested.

In the meantime it’s funny to have a dig at them

This season anything could change after a few games, but we are just delighting in the very apparent drop off from liverpool since crystal palace.

I seem to remember that we were consistently informed by all pundits and media that in order to be considered a great team we had to win b2b titles - which we did whilst also going for all other silverware.

Currently liverpool after only going for only 2 trophies over 3 or so seasons fighting ourselves look spent

Wd got ridiculed when we spoke openly about the effect winning b2b titles had on the squad being pushed every week by a hungry liverpool side

Well the shoe is on the other foot now, with liverpool looking like they cannot even defend a title

They're pretty quiet in work this morning. In contrast to most of this season. I got a "fuck off" when I tried to engage with one of them. Bless.
I suspect you mean "i got a fuck off when I tried to take the piss out of them" ;-)

The jammy twats went pretty much 2 whole seasons without a single key player missing for more than a week. Sod that, without a single key player missing at all. Every half-iffy refereeing decision in their favour and some diabolical travesties in their favour to boot.

Whilst all along we've had to go months without key players and with key players missing for vital games. And offsides against us because Sterling's earlobe was 1mm off.

Well welcome to the real world you wankers.

Several factors contributing to their performance (Or lack of...) atm:

- There squad doesnt have the depth in quality.
- Klopp hasnt rotated enough in that when the second string players are needed they are coming in cold with no form.
- Teams are applying the low block/counter tactic against them (As we have for the last 3 years) and they dont have the creativity to break through.
- No fans at Anfield to drive players through games is effecting them more than any other club.
- Klopp doesnt handle (real) pressure very well and this is reflected on the pitch.

If we can keep finding the net then we have a real chance this season.

I can see the league finishing:

- City
- Leicester
- United
- Liverpool

It's a little bit like Xmas 2018 in reverse - we lost two on the spin to Leicester and Palace and everyone said we were done. We then had a must-win home game against the scousers.

They will show up for sure when we go to Anfield and if they manage to turn us over, they are right back in it.
If they drop more points before facing us and we win our games, then they're probably out of it even if they beat us.

The Klanfield part is bollocks, every team needs fans to drive them in games not just them, and the famous Anfield atmosphere is a myth, they were still beating everyone there up until the last few games when their barren run started.

We’ve been facing these deep lying defences since we started twatting everyone in the first part of the 2011-12 season under Mancini.

Plus as soon as you’re the champions, every fucker plays out of their skin against you. because, well, they’re playing the champions! The season after winning the league is always a much tougher season than the season before.
The scousers have had the benefit of playing away in empty stadiums too. When we defended our title we had to play in front of baying crowds desperate to put one over on the greatest team English football has seen.
