I wonder if Pickford will have to move on? Seriously he is won’t be able to walk around Liverpool and relax again for a good while?

he is probably a good lad just seems a bit wired.
Pickford will be fine. One, he probably lives in Cheshire like most of the Liverpool/Everton/Manc teams players and two, he's not exactly Walter the Softy. Goalies are tough. I mean, yours got booted in the head and he took it pretty well.

Us Toffees will do it ... Just for fun mind ha ha
It'd be beyond funny if you did, could easily hide it behind a "we never want to see a professional sportsman suffer serious injury no matter who he plays for - Our city is behind you every step of the way on your looooooooooooong journey back to fitness" type message, whilst the fans are secretly pissing their sides about it :D

Agreed, imo, unless you've had the injury/surgery yourself, or you're at the very least a specialist surgeon in the field, you can never fully appreciate the impact and implications of it, it's a fuckin killer, both physically and mentally, moving in straight lines is fine, but once you start twisting, changing directions etc, it fucks you over, every time, he'll come back, but will be a level or two below at least, and he's a big lad, there's a hell of a lot of weight to distribute on the one knee when he has to.

Is it the same leg as the Achilles tendon rupture he had? That would make it even harder for him to rehab and put early loads back through his knee, never mind playing to his previous levels.

I did my Achilles 12 years ago now and it doesn't take much cold weather to remind me of a twinge or the tendon isn't quite perfect anymore.
