I think Klopp is leaving at the end of his contract, which is about 2 more years I think?

Their squad is at their current level is mostly Klopp's credit. They have a tendency to go for bargain bin hunts, only Klopp managed to turn the mediocre signings into world class wonders. Rodgers couldn't do it, Dalglish couldn't do it, Hodgson couldn't do it. Even the fans wanted Henderson out before Klopp arrived. Without Klopp, they will probably be back where they were before he arrived - mid table.

That is of course, they find another Klopp.
Bargain bins? Alison, vvd, thiago, keita, mane, salah, oxlade chamberlain, fabinho, firmino all cost good money, none were unheard of.
You don't need to pay a fortune for water carriers in midfield which is what they have.
The bargain basements you have talked about 1 has worked out so far in Robertson. Shaqiri, origi, matip, Adrian, minamoto, the Greek left back, the ex city gk, etc have all been shite.
TAA is from the academy. Gomez looks decent but is injury prone. Am I missing anyone?
They have a very good keeper (prefer eddie), a very good cb (can he return as good), a solid lb (a ****), a decent rb (has he been found out, is he exhausted or out of form?) and a very good front 3 who rarely get injured or tired (all either 30 or approaching with a lot of miles on the clock).
They haven't performed miracles (apart from never being injured or tired). They haven't done a leicester. They found a system and a front 3 which didn't need x factor in midfield, let's face it a 35 year old milner can play in there. Which in turn meant only 1 cb needed to be decent as 3 cdms sit in front of it. Then sling it into the channels for 2 excellent inside forwards to chase or into the box to cause havoc.
I'm not saying klopps done poorly but it isn't total football. It's expensive counter attacking football. It's what I'd expect from fat Sam with a healthy budget.
Look how they are struggling to break teams down now. Teams are just playing narrow and heading crosses out and running in behind their fullbacks. So they try drop a cdm and put creativity in midfield and their cbs struggle to cope.

My worry is that despite losing van dijk and Gomes they're not conceding many. It's only a matter of time before the front 3 click again particularly with jota returning soon.

I agree, Shaqiri, Origi etc. are terrible. On hindsight, I might have used the wrong word when I said 'bargain bins', I'm just trying to say the signings they make aren't mostly bank breaking. Admittedly also because I forgot about Keita (60m+), but who wouldn't. They aren't a club to toss money to get an 80m Maguire or 100m+ for Pogba, unless they sell someone for similar amount.

Klopp turned his 'water carriers' into a system that works for him and his players. Regardless of whether you rate his football or not, he did win a PL title and CL title playing it. Just because they aren't doing well this season, we shouldn't disregard his successes in prior seasons. Yes it isn't total football, yes it's pretty much counter attacking football with gegenpressing, but there's a certain efficiency in the system and how well the fundamentals are executed. And for me that's Klopp's coaching credit. It's a tad harsh to claim Fat Sam can do the same with budget, I wouldn't say Graham Potter can be a Pep if given enough money.

Their midfield has always lacked creativity, but Klopp circumvented that with Robertson and TAA. This season the duo aren't playing as well, thus their creativity dipped.

In any case, I'm gonna stop arguing Klopp/Liverpool's case, in case others start thinking I'm a Dipper.

The dickhead on the top left always has something demeaning to say about the opposition in his opening speech, but he is a buswrecker so I guess it goes with the territory
Managed to watch about 2 minutes but had to turn off when the Southern dipper said "Fabinho's tackle on Martial was better than Bobby Moore's on Pele", really are a deluded bunch, not many on here these days gloating, despicable bunch along with the self entitled rags, tossers.

Tront secretly caught Covid months ago, as reported by the Klopper recently, leave it eh?

Didn't he try to shag a pregnant wife on Snapchat, when the lady was just asking for some well wishes for her husband? I think he begged for the lady to not leak it but she did. Who knows, maybe that affected him?

EDIT: That was in 2018. Who knows, maybe the thirst got to him?
