About the same as we paid for Sergio a few months later..
Let that sink in.
Didn't the accounts show that we only paid £28 million for Sergio? And...
He's no Charlie Adam
...that even at that price Sergio was not the best buy of that transfer window? We never are any good at getting bargains.

Agree. I remember us paying around £45000 or a young lad called Coin Bell (RIP) in the mid 60s.
Don't think he did much for us, though.

Exactly. She did say he could not visit yet why mention it at all. The NHS staff must get fed up of news crews under their feet let alone the ego trips you refer to.
Perhaps he will inspire top consultants by standing in front of them, fist clenched, face grimaced but no mask as he is a footballer and the hugging the consultant and his team as they go into theatre to the strains of 'YNWA'.
Think were all pissing in the wind with this shite people actually think this sort of stuff is important....sadly that's the world we live in.Driven by a pathetic media that pick who they support at every level.

I thought it my duty to inform you all red Sally has just told us, echoed by desperate Dan, that Saint Jordan Henderson will be on LFC/MUFC TV, otherwise known as the sport bulletin on the BBC, at 8:30, where he will be informing us about the great work he is doing with the NHS. I'm sure the BBC will use my money to make a documentary about it, to go along with the many on the rags, give it to Giggsy, the class of 92 and the dippers first title win in 30 years.
If only the cnut could play football, give him something else to occupy his time

Wikileaks revealed he only cost us £31.5m. Meanwhile, Liverpool paid £35m for Andy Carroll which explains why they had to hack our scouting system.

This made me laugh from Liverpool podcast/echo

Liverpool cannot afford to make Man City's Kevin de Bruyne mistake with Thiago Alcantara

"I don't want him to be a player that Liverpool become over-reliant on - a kind of 'Thiago's on the pitch, give it to him and he'll sort it out' type approach," said Dan Morgan

"Man City, if they are in trouble, they give him the ball and ask him to carry them to the promised land, like Steven Gerrard type stuff but with a better team around him."

I mean, its not true. Anyone who's watched us would know this. It certainly wasnt true when we beat them in the league and Kevin missed 19 games. Who is this comment for? Why would someone say this?

According to his coach at City, his new manager labelled him "hopeless" during his first game.

Sounds about right.
