It’s too widespread a thing to ban one club over. It happens all over Europe, people have been thrown in gaol in the Balkans and Greece over it yet their club have faced no sanctions.

Madrid themselves are famous for “bus welcomes”.

But it is typical of Liverpool’s mentality.

They’ve once threw ammonia at United’s team (getting their own fans too, including women and children), and they’ve killed 39 and injured hundreds of Juve fans and tried to absolve themselves of responsibility... so nothing surprises me.

Does someone have to be killed or seriously injured before something meaningful is done? And then the scousers will be lighting candles and saying it wasn't them.

I wouldn't put it past them. I mean, Grand Old Team had some people who posted some...suspect stuff about Romelu Lukaku. And one of our shithead fans on Facebook complained about us not signing enough white players one season.

ETA: hh, Liverpool fans have been lobbing bottles at buses again? Looks like it didn't work. Karma's a bitch, eh?

And never forget the elephant in the room they seem to have absolved themselves of any responsibility from.
 
Planned, Publicised and Preventable
yet once again, even during Covid restricted times, hundreds are permitted to gather and abuse a visiting team by hurling objects and setting off pyrotechnics on the approach to Anfield.
Mealy mouthed apologies then follow in almost the same pacifying statements which were used on previous occasions when similar and much worse has been inflicted on travelling teams and their staff.
LFC and authorities have proved themselves incapable time after time or unwilling to control these foreseeable situations of illegal behaviour.
Evidence in the pubic domain shows that corruption is rife in that place. Fines have been levied in the past. Now, much firmer punishments must be imposed on these serial offenders.

They should have been banned for life for atrocities in Europe never mind the two coach attacks.

Merseyside Police should also face government action for total incompetence.
 
Wonder if last night's events will prompt a Revisiting of our 'welcome?' Perhaps media might thinks those lovable scallies have got more than a bit of previous?

These people arnt milking things they are fighting for justice for various reasons and I commend that.

I do agree though that there are certain times its brought up pointlessley (like last season possibly finishing on 96 points - but thats more the cult base than the families). But depends on the context of the point being made I suppose.

They actually have a go at us for singing always the victims and we were just as affected as they were, little realising its more to do with Heysel, Michael Shields and the Suarez T-Shirts.

Have they even once condemned their own for barging in without tickets? A premeditated action that played a massive part in the tragedy.

You're not the first person to have said that either. At least they couldn't play the 'Everton fans were singing about Hillsborough' card this season. Everton fans have supported them for years over Hillsborough, and yet.

Some of the families want to move on and I don't blame them. What happened was horrific and sad but it shouldn't be used to manipulate others, especially by people who were nowhere near the ground. Liverpool fans do not get to use Hillsborough as an excuse to act like twats, sorry.

They are going to end up pissing off the wrong fans one day.
 
Love Liverpool fans I do, a few examples of the respect/understanding they have for us and football in general.

Must be the shittiest semifinals I can remember, 2x arab oil, 1x russian oil and 1x "galacticos". Can't be bothered
