PS she said Stanford Bridge !
It was the other girl who said Stamford Bridge.... probably the thickest contestant I've seen in a quiz this year so far, makes you wonder....I'm thick as fuck so I'll go on telly so everyone will know how thick I am.... strange people...

It's a mockery. Try winning the Joan Gamper trophy, you bin dipping twats.

Still the only game I have ever been to that started on one day and finished on the next!

And apart from the '81 Cup Final, the biggest City crowd I've ever been in.

Rebuilding? Won't be easy. They have only 2-3 players in the first eleven who are under 27. VVD, Matip, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Thiago, Firmino are on the wrong side of 30 or approaching it, Salah and Mane turn 29 this year. In order to successfully rebuild the team, FSG will have to invest hundreds of millions which they probably won't do.

Tbf, Klopp built a very strong team on a restricted budget. It was the perfect storm. It would be extremely difficult to repeat that feat though. He needed 4 years the first time, are they going to wait another 4 years for a new team? Don't think so.
Restricted budget? I guess I had forgotten VVD and Allison sucking eggs in the scouser academy

Comedy gold from RAWK:

"I was bit concerned, loads of people saying how good he is, but I don't see it. To me [Phil Foden]'s just an average skinny, stupid haircutted, ugly fucker who's fallen on his feet in a team of talented people. He scored a good goal, granted, but I scored one once at his age........"

Yeah, these the same people that rated Jordan Ibe.
"Ugly fucker" ... good thing all scousers are oil paintings

To be honest, until your second goal it was a very even match that could have gone either way. Both teams should have had a goal extra ie the penalty and Mane’s header and were set to finish with the squib I predicted. But you can’t legislate for goalie errors like that nor does it make him completely fallible overnight. You lot know as well as anybody that ball playing goalkeepers are prone to howlers. Case in point, it only took Ederson a few minutes to boot it straight to Mane where we should have done a lot more to capitalise. Or giving the ball straight to Salah for his goal the other year. But the good outweighs the bad considerably with these sort of lads. They’re better than their contemporaries for a reason.
I said last week that either side could make a real statement victory although I didn’t think it was likely. Don’t think even Pep thinks it was a 4-1 game but that’s how footy pans out sometimes. It’ll be tough to retain the title now but we’ve still got the CL and plenty of players to come back or return to their usual role. But Sunday was a great example of a team high on confidence & a heavy winning streak taking their chances when they had to. No complaints here, that’s football.
You're right it was a fairly even first half but football is not played over 45 mins and we started taking control from early in the second half. Mane's header was the only clearcut chance you created in the whole game, whereas we could easily have had 2 or 3 more goals. The media are not exactly City cheerleaders, yet I havent heard one of them say we were flattered by our victory. You were outclassed. End of story.

Haha...that last paragraph! Are you honestly suggesting that that is a reliable metric to gauge or quantify who’s better at footy? Deary me, you sound like the sort of kid who walks round the yard saying my dad’s bigger than your dad. Up to you, I suppose.
Let's look at a longer period. Over the past 4 seasons, the clubs have played 8 times in the league with City winning 4, 2 draws and Liverpool winning 2. Of City's wins, 3 have been by 3 or more goals. And Liverpool's win last season was courtesy of two goals that should never have stood.

These are all facts.
