It was the other girl who said Stamford Bridge.... probably the thickest contestant I've seen in a quiz this year so far, makes you wonder....I'm thick as fuck so I'll go on telly so everyone will know how thick I am.... strange people...
There was a university student on tipping point this week who was studying Geography and was in her final year. When asked which sea did the RHINE empty into - Baltic, North Sea or Mediterranean - she replied “I have never heard of the RHINE so this will be a guess”.

I find myself shouting at the TV at the basic lack of general knowledge by people who are prepared to make themselves look complete idiots in front of the whole nation.

The narrative from them seems to be "it was never a 4-1 game". They are right, it should have been 6 or 7 nil.
As Tyler said about the Chelsea game, at least we won the second half. Maybe the dippers were still on the piss, like they were at The Etihad. I'm not sure which page in the 'encyclopedia of excuses the media and Klopp are reading from.

Which University did she go to Gray?
Just so I know to never let my kids go there and study Geography.

Yeah I saw that too.

At least university kids have to pay fees back, that being said good luck to her getting a job paying enough.

If you go to google earth, zoom in on Merseyside. Then look for a distinct glow given off by tens of candles. Robert should then be your father's brother.

You're welcome.
I tried that but it wasn't candles causing the glow it was a huge pile of bull shit, probably the same place though.

I saw a girl on a quiz once being asked the name of Henry the 8th’s famous battleship that was raised from the seabed in the early 1980’s. Her reply was: “The Jolly Roger?”

Probably because geography is no longer about where somewhere is on a map and hasn't been for over 30 years that I know of.
Gone have the days of teaching things that are potentially of some use in later life. The geography of today is all about regional climates, politics, land, farming, crop rotation etc. A question on my geography GCSE was describe a typical hill sheep farm. My answer, 'a typical hill sheep farm is located on a hill, surprisingly enough'.
I failed!

I notice you didn't answer the question yourself. You obviously don't know, do you? That's okay. I'll step into the breach. It's the Pacific.

You're welcome.
