I watched motd and genuinely failed to understand why it should have been a straight red on Pickford. It was a clumsy tackle but not intentional, his momentum carried him through the tackle imo.

VD is a huge loss but i reckon it will be nearer 2 months out than 8. They are hurting at the moment and it's lovely to watch. Sometimes VAR goes for you and sometimes against you.The decision against Mane was marginal, even without VAR it may not have been given.

I hate Liverpool and most things related to them, but come on it’s a red every day of the week had the ref not deemed it unpublishable due to the offside call.

The tackle was wreckless, high, late and used excessive force. I don’t see how you can argue it shouldn’t be a red card.
