Two things annoyed me. Even when I was having a shouting match with the landlady especially about the staff getting pots half filled with left overs, filling up and reselling at full price, City fans were still desperate to get this piss because there was no other alternative.
I complained to Liverpool Council but none of Trading Standards, Licencing and Public Health gave a toss. And so the malpractice continues whenever away fans are in town.
City got beat 3-0 days after we won the League Cup over them.

But, if you have any left over euros from your holiday you can pay for your slops with them.

well that's the thing, Liverpool have developed to not need Firmino to score often to win because their wingers are lethal. Our problem is Gabby is a below-par finisher compared to elite level strikers but when he plays we rely on him trying to score 1/2 of his 8 chances because Raz and Mahrez are similarly not clinical. If we had Salah and Mane level finishers on both wings then Gabby would get off his lack of finishing because of everything else he brings, like 17/18 when he chipped in but the all round play with Sane and Sterling finishing for fun made all the difference. That's why the frustration grew last season with Gabby because we needed him to be finishing like Kun because the others weren't up to the same level.

he started on fire, then had a big drought and came back at the end a bit.

Compare the context of his goals, to say 17/18. 17/18 there were key points gaining goals against Everton, Bournemouth, West Brom, Huddersfield, Southampton, Newcastle etc. Last season didn't have those key result changing goals, added to a period between November and March where he scored 4 league goals in 16 games, it was a problem for the whole team being rampant in half our games but our results dropping hugely in the half we struggled in, Raz reflects that. It's a combination of getting goals but also getting result changing goals that makes all the difference from a title win in 17/18 and a distant 2nd. His record v rags and Dippers is also very poor.

You know that despite scousers being an independent nation that their currency is pounds sterling?
You know that l like many others decided to avoid going on holiday in the Eurozone because of something called Covid 19?

Yes, a delicious beverage drunk by dipper tourists.
Yes, but they have a large tourist following that can spend their money in there.
Because of Covid 19 you haven't been able to attend football matches either but when you can, you can pay for your delicious beverage with your left over holiday money.

I didnt partake of said slops merely tried to warn my fellow blues who were not really bothered. Felt good for having a shout and left on principle should have got a couple of bottles of unadulterated slop free beer.
It was strange being a tourist even in the ground although we we blues were not singing in a distinct Norwegian accent like the stand to our right.
Once things are back to normal l doubt l will have a single lepton left having spent everything on the products of the Corfu Micro Brewery.
