I'm afraid to say I checked out a few sites to see what the opposition reaction to the postponement was, including that one you mention and RAWK. One contributor to the latter suggested words to the effect of 'If that was Liverpool, we're told to play'. To be fair, several Liverpool supporters have pointed out to him/her that s/he's hardly a candidate for an invitation to be a panellist on 'The Brains' Trust'.
The BBC match thread for Palace-Leicester too is littered with calls for City to be punished by forfeiting the Everton and any subsequent games etc. Braindead f**kwits.
Oddly enough, as I was reading said sites, the i-Thingy shuffle played an old Was (Not Was) track, 'Out Come The Freaks' which seemed, to me at any rate, a moment of synchronicity..
I know, I know.. I'm a grown man with grandkids who should know better.. thirty years working in the pharmaceutical regulatory industry and fifteen in law should have taught me to be mature and not to get involved. Forgive me, Father, I have sinned..
I hope I'm wrong but I fear that this may yet grow as a story with which (yet again) the media will choose to beat us alone over the head, nothwithstanding whatever has happened at other clubs (eg Newcastle recently).
Best wishes to everyone at the club who has contracted this; indeed, to any player/staff member at any club affected by this awful disease.
