If you really want to see how stupid this complaint about picking people who aren't playing regularly...

Stones has played 90 minutes 37 times in 2021. 3,375 minutes total this year.

Joe Gomez has played 90 minutes twice in 2021. 216 minutes total this year.

Stones has started 18.5x more games and played 16x more minutes than Gomez.

So that's why one is still playing for England and the other isn't.
