Had to smile this morning, I got up around 6.20am & put talk shite on the radio for the sports news (I know but I hate the bbc even more than talk shite)
Lynsey Hipgrave & Tony Cascarino were talking about the chumps league final, turns out Hipgrave went to the game & I have to say the way she described things it did sound a bit of a shambles but she kept making the point she didnt see any fake tickets (how would you?)
Then the not very bright Cascarino starts going on about how he is a big liverpool fan & he had been seriously thinking about going to the game but had decided not to buy any Fake Tickets?
I know it could have been a genuine mistake on his part & he quickly tried to correct himself, but just the way he said it didnt really sound like he had made a mistake.

Sorry if this has already been posted but I have just spotted this on YouTube:

It’s get a bit technical but in short the use of asthma inhalers is performance enhancing in endurance sports like football and it is known about. There is such a thing as exercise induced asthma but 63% is definitely cheating.

Share it far and wide Blues before the inevitable happens (the victims complain and everything gets deleted)

How have they managed to square that particular alternate universe circle?

Scumwashing. They're at it again today. Find a couple of self-appointed crowd "experts" and publish their opinion. Today it's;

"Only Liverpool fans' memories of Hillsborough stopped another disaster in Paris last week"

This based on a "special investigation" based on "testimony from scores of supporters who have contacted The Mail on Sunday" and the opinion of "one of the UK's leading scientists on crowd dynamics".

What I can't understand is why the Mail has such a hard-on for scousers. Money must be changing hands.

It didn’t take long.

They really are milking it.

Not going to link it. From BBC News.

The Liverpool West Derby MP is planning a parliamentary motion about the issue.

Mr Byrne, who was also at the 1989 Hillsborough disaster that led to the deaths of 97 Liverpool fans after a stadium crush, told BBC Radio 4 Today that there was "a shambolic breakdown of stadium management" and "extremely hostile" policing in Paris.

"It was the worst event I've ever seen around a football match since 1989 at Hillsborough and it could have been as serious as Hillsborough with the lives lost," he said.

"It was only the patience of the Liverpool supporters that prevented that from happening because we got absolutely nothing from the authorities."
Byrne himself said he arrived 'in good time' an hour before kick off. Personally l think l would have allowed more time going to a strange ground for such s big match especially if l had already experienced another disaster.
