Funny - on 5 Live this week, they were talking as if Liverpool were stronger for the signing of Darwen Nunez, but, there's no way he can be as lethal as Mane has been for the last 5 or 6 seasons. Maybe one day he'll be as good as Mane was, but I'd doubt that'll be in his first season, at least.

The press have been doin the same around Dias. 6 goals in 26 games is a mile off Mane/Salah levels. Not that you'd know that from the fornicating thats been going on about him since Jan

Business wise for a 30 year old it isn't bad. Their front three that had been there a while all turned 30 together, along with their star centre back, so not suited for "Heavy Metal" football anymore.

Get your point but they’d have preferred to have lost Frimino over Mane this summer. Mane is key to their press, he’ll be a big miss for them

Dippers sign Nunez for £64 million (the cost with add ons is actually £85 million).
Dippers sell Mane for £35 million ( the cost before add ons is £27.5 million).
City sign Haaland for a deal worth £250 million ( the transfer fee with with add ons is £51.5 million)

I think Liverpool will miss Mane more than many people think. He might be a diving, violent git but, when on form, is a very good striker. Will be interesting to see what happens with Lewandoski now.
