e
Liverpool fan on 606.

"We're still spending the coutinho and sterling money on signings, we haven't got the funds city have".

Couldn't stop laughing.
Now that one was our fault. We still mock them by saying they are still spending those fees.
I never thought a Dipper would belive it to be true.

cant wait until summer when they have no option but to cash in on Salah...
I am one of those that think that we should table a substantial bid for him - ideally this January - if only for shits and giggles

Can you imagine the fume on RAWK??

Would make great - if disturbing - reading

Any talk about their lack of squad depth in terms of quality? And talk about TAA not being able to defend or the fact ‘the best CB in the world’ is actually not.
Not by a long chalk. He only became good when the scousers expressed an interest.

It is increasingly starting to look like their very, very excellent team 18-20 was one put together to win a title rather than sustain success. They've got an aging squad, no midfield, an inability to manage a squad so players move on rather than stay and fight for a place, and have bought players at their peak or just past it.

They can have their pluckiest smallest biggest club all they want, they're failing to capitalise on winning the lottery in the transfer market and having the quality of manager they have and it isn't simply because we have money and they don't.

African nations cup and Liverpool only have two leagues games hand picked too so it wasn’t against any top 6 team where as of Christmas we get handpicked two away in London and guess what BT bias broadcasting corporation thought hey let’s pick the Arsenal game for 12:30! They try to pick the hardest game they can for us and we still win.

Correct. It's like they realised they had to hit an absolute peak in order to just challenge us, with all their players peaking at the same time. But with that comes a team whose players fade at the same time.

I guess, like so many other businesses, we can’t know the impact the pandemic has had more widely on FSG, and their other investments and interests, although I’m sure it hasn’t impacted on dividends as much as it has on player recruitment.

They need to start rebuilding now or are they accepting being also rans for the final few seasons of Klopp’s reign. He’s had a year longer in the premier league than Pep, during that time Pep has built a 100 points and quadruple winning machine. Then dismantled it and rebuilt again into the side we see today.

I find it weird they are trying to nail Salah down to a new contract when they should be flogging him and rebuilding again. The other side is why would Salah stay there playing for a team that doesn’t want to be ambitious and attempt to dominate the league. They said this would be a red dynasty in 2020, it’s more of a footnote under City being the best team in the country.

I think what I find weird about Liverpool and United fans is their entitlement.. they call city fans "plastic" but all of their fans I know personally are from other parts of bloody England.. I know a Liverpool fan from Plymouth and a united fan from bloody West Ham, they follow them because they are who won when they were growing up.. can you get any more plastic than that? Hahaha
Always said if Coventry had won trophies that’s who these fuckers would support.

It's the same with Dortmund fans in Germany, smug and always the victims.
Found the people in Dortmund were great, miles better than the self entitled Munich fans, loved the City but some of the people were stuck up fuckers, apart from our mate, Rupert the Bearvarian.

They’ve still spent about 100m on Jota, Thiago and Konate in the past two seasons, not that they’d admit to it. Only one of them seems to have been worth the money though. I’m not sure why they bought Thiago in all honesty, he’s used to playing football and doesn’t really suit the combination of hoof ball and cross it 150 times a game.

Actually they breached FFP and were let off on a technicality - the fact that they were too crap to qualify for Europe
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't there also some clever accounting to write off ~50m towards training ground infrastructure costs that didn't happen until years later - which coincidentally offset the 50m they would've outspent their FFP budget by?
